Chapter 5. The Battle Continues
The Winner left his workplace, already knowing that his days were numbered. As one of the city's main helpers, he realized that sooner or later, criminals would come to settle the score with him. And when he saw the terrifying beast, he wasn't surprised at all. He had prepared in advance, knowing that this was his only chance. An uncontrollable maniac attacked him, devouring everything in his path. On the verge of death, he pulled a knife out of his pocket and aimed it directly at the attacker's eye. He struck... but alas, hitting the iron mask, the knife flew out of his hand, and with it, the hope of salvation vanished. The police, who arrived later at the scene of the crime, were still unable to determine who the murdered man was. All they found was a business card from Yakutia.
At the same time,
Zybr met his killer. The maniac, who had not quenched his thirst for weeks, finally went hunting. There were no mistakes allowed. He never makes them. A sharp mind, cold calculation - and any victim is doomed. Zybr could not avoid the inevitable. He found himself on a table, wrapped in plastic, staring at his abductor, who was smiling slyly. A ritual. A knife on his cheek, a blood sample as a trophy, and no mercy. Everything seemed to be going according to plan, but a sudden phone call, demanding immediate presence at the scene of the crime, interrupted all plans. The maniac injected a slow-acting poison and left, hoping to return and find him still alive. But upon his return, there was no trace of Zybr. A syringe with an antidote, lying on the table, revealed everything.
That evening,
Zybr was bothered by a prankster, but it's difficult to say what happened.
Tox, having escaped from one trap, was placed in another, only much more pleasant this time.
Amko, on the other hand, was locked in a car, where he spent the whole night.
