Closer to 6 am, Kobra finally overpowered Alone ...

An extremely stubborn game that taught me a lot.
We started without resets; Kobra decided that my army was weak and I would take a reset. But I had an elven outpost and 2 dwarves—and most importantly—a lot of roads. Major downsides: very little gold. I had 5 heroes on day 113 and absolutely no gold for construction on the third day. In the end, only Griffin Conservatory in the Citadel, but I took a dungeon and could see where to develop. On day 122 I took a Hive and broke through 2 more Hive guards. On day 123 I took 2 Ubies and a level 3 Griffin Conservatory, all transferred to capture another Griffin Conservatory. It turned out to be a level 1, and 2 more Griffin Conservatories were revealed very far away. The extreme lack of gold complicated things; I took the only available dwarf dwelling on day 115, and there was no way to return to the other side due to distances and lack of Logistics—I ran through 4 respawns, 2 of them very long. Of course, I could have built chains more efficiently, but neutral computers also got in the way. I'm rolling a weak army and breaking through the guard to a distant port. No gold to buy growth; I need to take a Dragon Utopia on a dungeon respawn, which I do on day 132 without overeating. A Book of Air was given, and Kobra appeared in the distant portal. Knowing his playstyle, I figured that seeing my force, he would turn back, since overpowering is his path. But it turned out he was in really bad shape, and hunger drove him forward despite the sense of danger. :D As I judged based on his army, I would simply block him in the portal, break the chain from the capital, and finish him off. I already had 10 Angels and 20+ Wyverns and had Flight. But as it turned out, he already had 3400 movement points, and my Ivor simply couldn't catch him, no matter the odds. The lack of Logistics ultimately decided it—Ivor got it in the last slot when everything was already maxed out. In the end, my capital was taken, and they went off to overpower. I realized I had lost somewhere around 6+ am, when I saw +1000 skeletons in his capital.
Next time I'll act... smarter) Perhaps my longest LIVE game—we started playing at 3 pm and finished at 7 am:smile15:
