When considering all the variations with blocks, defenses, etc., I would only vote to eliminate Ment, because: 1) He exploited a mistake and tried to eliminate Red, even though Red has several roles listed that are quite useful for the town. 2) He consistently denied having any protection against the Mafia. He didn't even consider it, which suggests that he was sticking to the same strategy of eliminating someone, tailoring the details to fit that strategy. But still, there's a feeling that Ment simply has a different view of the purpose of any defense, and for him, a successful defense is only one that directly saves the target, without any caveats.
