Posts from Speed and aggression.
I think the deadline for the first round has already been extended enough. If you really wanted to, you would have found a way to play within two weeks.
P.S. There are 36 players in the tournament, so the saying "seven in one, none" applies five times over.
Both players received Necropolises, but mine was better – I got a Vampire Lair and my native companion. In the first week, I managed to capture both companions, a Cloak, and the Amulet of Necromancy, and then merged on the Fortress of Gnomes for a Flask of +2 Life. On day 122, I planned to break through to the Guardian Order, but my opponent merged on the Shrine of Angels. Thanks for the game!

The lineup is decent, lots of skeletons, but as it turns out, there are not enough of them, and there are blocks everywhere; necromancy doesn't level up, offense does = and then Tanya writes "gg," probably celebrating 8th of March well))) thanks for the game!
111 Got a decent start, built archers, heroes came with 3 serpents and 7 archers. Immediately bought 4 heroes and captured the strategic prison along the road. Spotted an external dwelling of gnolls and lizardmen.
113 Two roads from the main go into adjacent zones, can't find my own secondary. Noticed a Griffin Conservatory (level 2), which I ultimately never took.
115 Took a Necro secondary and pushed deep into the main in search of my fort with free lizardmen.
117 Finally find that ill-fated secondary, and also another external dwelling of lizardmen. But I don't have time to take them this week. -20 potential archers :( Also accidentally pushed into another zone beyond the Necro zone. Saw a Rampart roof there and panicked, fled from there. Thought it was the opponent, but it turned out to be neutrals :) The map had already trolled me quite a bit... Built 12346 in the castle.
127 At the start of the week, barely managing to buy units, I go along the second road from the Necro zone. There are 40 crusaders there... Already have plenty of archers, everything gets shot down without issues. And right after the GO there's a small village (Castle) in blue color. Then along the road, Barbarians (Fort) with built griffins. By the end of the week, a scout finds the opponent's main through rough terrain.
134 Siege the capital. The opponent's game just didn't work out, and I had too much...
09.03.2012 Nolife (Red, Random/Swamp, Meris, Korbac) def Gaudin (Blue, Random/Rampart, Clancy, Mephala) Kite (l - u) 134.
I played Kite for the first time.
And I couldn't even imagine that my native secondary hero would end up in such a tight spot.
Couldn't reach it in the first week because the road went through another secondary hero's territory. That is, behind two guards. :(
(Could have gone off-road, of course, but I only found that out after the game. I rushed off in completely the wrong direction :))
Didn't get a single elf from the starting troops. I didn't take a restart because I was tempted by Mephala. Plus I thought it was far from certain the chocolate would drop :)
Spent the entire first week running around with 7 elves from the dwelling built on day one.
No money.
Only two crypts.
Maximals and pre-maximals.
That's where I got two artifacts: a magic ring (although Mephala didn't have a spell book) and a glyph of valor.
Didn't find any other artifacts.
Also saw a bag of gold behind some vampires on a neighboring respawn.
There was one external dwelling of pegasuses. There were no crystals on my native respawn at all.
So I only built pegasuses and unicorns in the second week.
In the first week I captured (that's putting it mildly, of course :)) the citadel and castle.
Ran around with four heroes. Money was catastrophically short.
I freed a hero from prison and on the very next turn I misclicked and attacked a mob of goblins with a single unit.
My opponent played excellently. He showed up in the second week. Seeing such a massive force of meat, I locked myself in the castle, even though I knew there was practically no chance. Stats were almost the same, but the meat advantage was huge. Those lizardmen alone were something else :)
In short, everyone saw the screenshots. A well-deserved defeat. :smile15:
Thanks for the game.
I'll keep training :)

We still need to figure out who celebrated better and confused 113 with 115 :D
The starting area is small, we lured 2 creatures, but by the time you get to them... there's nothing to build the castle with... and I lost on 113 due to a block of Gnolves :D
Thanks for the game!
...and on turn 113, I merged into a block of Gnolls:D
Just in case, I'll post here. There's been silence in the Alliance for 3 days now, so I don't want to wait until the last moment.
Both got Inferno from the rest spawn, I fight off a lot of imps right away, take an external dwelling of gogs and get a secondary hero, a good stack of gogs + 8 demons (external dwelling) forms. Next, a road with 3 obelisks, gorgoyles, serpents and storms, all beaten up. I take my native secondary hero, efreets in the citadel in the main with pits, on turn 2 I take a Dwarf Cottage and 3 Medusa Dwellings, buy out, upgrade, and demonology starts (first time demoning). Everything turns out messy, but somehow by the end of turn 2 I have 48 demons, I encounter Ayden but don’t have enough movement to reach him, I cut off his way home. Ayden breaks after buying back, the money comes just in time. I bribe more demons (65 total) and Ayden attacks. 3 angels, 7 efreets, 11 pit lords, 17 demons, 86 magogs, 20 wolves, 20 imps, against 9 efreets, 14 pit lords, 65 demons and 35 gogs. Stats: Ignatius higher 5-6 vs 2-4 for Ayden, 100 mana, power 4 for Ignatius, power 4, 30 mana for Ayden. Demons rule. In some ways I understood people who love Inferno.
Thanks for the game.
11.03.2012 Dimast (Red, Inferno Ignatius ) def Javdet (Blue, Inferno Ayden ) Kite (l - u) 132.
Took the rest, Inferno was dealt to both, I repel many imps, immediately take the external dwelling of gogs and get a secondary hero, a good stack of gogs forms + 8 demons (external dwelling), then the road with 3 obelisks, sharp rocks, snakes and storms, all wrecked, I take my native secondary, efreet in the Citadel in the main with pits, on week 2 I take the Dwarf Cottage and 3 Medusa Dwellings, buy everything out, upgrade, and demonology begins (first time I demonize) everything turns out crooked but somehow by the end of week 2 I have 48 demons, I encounter Ayden but don't have enough movement to reach him, I cut off his road home, Ayden is defeated after buying back, the money comes in handy. Bribe more demons (65 total) and Ayden attacks. 3 angels, 7 efreet, 11 pit fiends, 17 demons, 86 magogs, 20 wolves, 20 imps, against 9 efreet, 14 pit fiends, 65 demons and 35 gogs. By stats, Ignatius is higher 5-6 against 2-4 for Ayden, 100 mana, power 4 for Ignatius, power 4 30 mana for Ayden. Demons rule. In some ways I understood people who love Inferno.
Thanks for the game.
Like in that joke — "Why did I jump in, I can't even read?))" In Castle I would have sat quietly until I maxed Earth, but I just got the itch to fight.
Thanks for the game.
