I saw that there isn't a topic about this yet, so I decided to create one. Maybe you just haven't gotten to this Campaign yet, but I really enjoy playing as the Orcs (Stronghold), so I'm creating this topic. I haven't encountered any difficulties yet; I'm just winning, and I hope I won't have to lose in this mission because the main hero has an army of: 121 Ogres, 60 Goblins, 20 Harpies, and 11 Centaurs. It's unlikely that anyone will defeat me with such an army!!!! But still, I'll describe something below if I don't manage to win, and if I do win, I'll write about it too. You too, if something is unclear to you, write in this topic! That's basically all I wanted to write, thank you all for your attention!

I've completed the first mission, "Orcs Have No Place Here," in just 3.5 hours of gameplay! So, I'm telling those who haven't played it yet or don't know: gather as many troops as possible because there will be many battles, and you need to have very large armies everywhere, especially when the gates open! Above, I wrote how many troops I had – after opening the gates and fighting the enemy hero, I had only 30 Ogres, 3 Centaurs, and 15 Goblins left; all the others died. But I had a very large army in the cities, so it wasn't a big deal! I saved Irina, losing almost all my troops, and when I was getting on the ship, I had to defeat a very large neutral army! There were about 250 Infantry, 250 Archers, and 70 of those female units, I forgot what they're called. At that time, I had an army of: 550 Ogres, 220 Infantry, 400 Archers, 600 Goblins, and 50 Griffins. I won easily! (I mean the neutral army) in just a couple of hits. I got on the ship and sailed away, thus completing the mission!!! I hope I helped someone with what I wrote :smile01: :smile01: :smile01:

I'm playing on hard difficulty. I completed this mission in 2 months. I captured all the human castles and, of course, rebuilt them. On the 5th week after capturing the central city, I faced a dilemma: should I go south and take another city to increase my resources, but there they wanted to kill almost all the Kentaur, or go north, but there was Mark with a high threat level. I went north first (there you can really level up and get some good bonuses), and I killed Mark without any losses :smile19: :smile44:, then I also took the southern castle without losses. The remaining two cities were also easily captured, not to mention the neutrals guarding the ship.

What you need for battles "without losses": reinforcements, drought, restoration, and single goblins for traps and rage (I gave the harpies to Rangi).

P.S. Ogres are awesome; they are immortal under drought :cool:.

P.P.S. I got the "Greedy" achievement for this map :D.

I'm having trouble completing a mission: I approach the ship, but the hero doesn't get on board. Could it be a bug?

You need to take the Fortress in the upper right corner, which is guarded by Mark.

Which weapon from the Dynasty is best for Orcs? I'm getting tired of using Arachna.

In the mission, you'll be given the Wolf Sword, and you can use it. But in general, it doesn't really matter which sword you choose. They are designed in such a way that they don't offer anything specific for each faction, unlike the staffs with their bonuses for magic.

And Sandor doesn't have Dark Magic; she was given Light Magic. That's why she used healing.
In general, I completed the game quickly and without significant losses. At the beginning, I cleared all the Wolf faction castles and, along the way, freed slaves. When you free the last (4th) group of slaves, the northern gate opens. But before opening the northern gate, I gathered a small army – I collected reinforcements and went to Mark to rescue Irina. I persuaded Mark, talked to Irina, and the 2nd gate opened, which leads to the port. I calmly made my way to the last castle, defeated the last hero, and went to fight for the ship. Notably, for the first time in all the games, I completed the "choice" mission on my first try (and earned about 350 blood).

But I don't have Dark Magic for Sandor.
