"King of the Hill"
I hereby announce the start of a duel tournament.
"King of the Hill"
The army is gathered, all swords are gleaming!
And the snow underfoot will soon melt away!
Players will clash, let battle decide,
- who still needs practice, and who is already a hero!
1) The tournament will be held on version HoMM IV: Equilibris 3.51 (download it here). You can connect via Hamachi (download here) in one subnet:

Registration for the tournament begins with the launch of this thread and will last until February 3rd.
Anyone can sign up for the tournament.
To participate in the tournament, you need to leave an application in this thread; the application should include your nickname and ICQ number (or other means of contacting you).
Games will begin on February 4th.
Tournament organizer and judge - Zybr. ICQ 386111321.
Tournament rules:
1) Depending on the number of participants, the organizer will choose a system for conducting the tournament. This may be either single elimination games or all participants will be in a general group.
2) The host is responsible for organizing each specific game and bears responsibility for it. If a game remains unplayed after a week, a technical defeat is awarded to the host. If his opponent does not show interest in the game, tries to avoid it, repeatedly fails to appear at the scheduled time, etc., the host must inform the organizers, who will investigate the circumstances.
3) The first round lasts until February 12th, then exactly one week is allocated for each round.
After the game has been played, the host must provide a report on its completion:
(Sample report for the first stage) "Player1 (Race) def. Player2 (Race) *overall score*"
The second participant must confirm the result, after which it will be accepted by the tournament organizer.
4) Games in the general group (if this system is adopted) are held on a calendar basis. One point will be awarded for a win, and 0 points for a loss.
5) It is forbidden to edit the arena in any way. A player will be disqualified from the tournament if such a violation is detected.
6) Using cheats is also forbidden.
7) The game consists of three battles. Please note that mirror matches, where both players play with the same castle, are not available.
a) In the first battle, each of the two duelists eliminates one castle out of six possible ones (the host chooses first). Of the remaining four castles, the first castle is chosen by the host, and then the second player.
After the first battle, players can no longer choose the castle they already played with in their duel.
b) In the second battle, each of the duelists eliminates one castle for each other from the remaining five possible ones. Thus, each again chooses from four castles. The non-host chooses first.
c) In the third battle, elimination is no longer required because each player will have four castles available from those they haven't yet played with. Again, the host chooses first.
Example:
a) Player1 eliminated Life, Player2 Nature.
Player1 chose Death, and Player2 Order.
b) Player 2 eliminated Life for Player1, and Player1 eliminated Strength for Player2.
Player2 first chooses a castle from Strength, Chaos, Death, and Nature, since he played Order in the first battle, and his opponent eliminated Life for him. Let's say he chose Chaos.
Player1, in turn, chooses from Chaos, Order, Nature, and Life. Let's say he chose Life.
c) Player1 can now choose from Chaos, Order, Nature, and Strength, as he has already played with Life and Death.
Player2 can take Life, Chaos, Nature, and Strength accordingly.
8) The settings for the map are as follows:
Difficulty - "Master", time per turn - 10 minutes.
9) Having gathered all the proposed armies, the player must go to the arena on the first day (at most on the second, if you don't have time).
Each player can take one restart.
10) It is forbidden to send scouts to identify the troops/artifacts/skills of your opponent.
11) It is forbidden to level up one hero in both quest houses.
12) The general scheme of behavior on the map is as follows:
a) In the town tavern, hire the first hero (any) and level him up in one of the two quest houses.
b) Hire a second hero (also any) in the tavern outside the city and level him up in the second quest house (don't forget to separate the newly hired hero for leveling up).
c) Go along the fence and join your army.
d) Make the necessary arrangement and forward into battle! (the desired exit from the portal at the top).

Tournament structure:
Stage 1 - group stage. Two players from each group advance to the playoffs.
Stage 2 - playoffs. The standard scheme is 2A vs. 1B and 2B vs. 1A. The hosts in these games are the players who took second place in their groups. The host of the final game is the winner of the upper bracket.
I wish everyone good luck and enjoyment of the game!
