"Drink more than you should, it will be better for you"

It has been known for quite some time that the best way to spend one's time is over a mug of beer at Van's tavern. Only here can one eat their fill, enjoy inexpensive quality drinks, and spend time with perhaps the most gorgeous women in the Abyss. Perhaps that is why Van's tavern is always packed to the rafters, while his competitors die of boredom, hunger, and poverty.
Tonight,
Ment felt an inexplicable need to visit his favorite tavern, Van's, to have a couple of glasses, thinking, "Drink in the morning... oh, I mean at night, and the whole d... pfft, the whole night you're free!". However, the poor fellow didn't notice how he increased his usual dose to total intoxication.
And so, after paying the bill—which was surprisingly not small—
Ment was just about to leave when he was suddenly stopped by a handsome lad surrounded by girls, who offered
Ment the chance to listen to his new songs. At first,
Ment wanted to tell the stranger to get lost, but he had become so indifferent to everything that he decided to listen to the guy just so he could go home afterward, and if he were lucky, maybe with one of those girls.
Eventually, having finished playing his songs on the piano, the lad left
Ment alone, taking all the girls with him.
Ment might have been upset that he wasted his time, but he preferred to ignore it and just go home to his bed.
But even then, he was not left in peace. On the way home, and then at home under the window until morning, the poor wretch listened to various unfamiliar solo parts played on an electric guitar. Several times
Ment tried to find this heartless monster, but it was fruitless, as if a professional were at work.
WisTrit was also not very pleased with the past night. First, a long-haired old man stopped by to visit him, asking him to play something.
Then, when
WisTrit decided to get some fresh air, he began to be pestered by some madman, repeating that the Abyss would soon fall and that everyone must stick together.
During
Xostor's favorite nightly stroll, some street thief brazenly and unnoticed cleaned him out. The guy promised that if he found the scoundrel, he would make him pay in full.
A guy approached
Werevolka, questioning her about what she liked more and whom she preferred to serve. Having finished the interrogation, he modestly asked if she was free the next evening, leaving the girl in a stupor.
An enchanting maiden visited
Tox as well. At first,
Tox was very happy with his guest, but when she decided to play a couple of melodies for him on the flute, the guy was ready to jump off the balcony just to stop listening to this nightmare.
But for
Spear, this night was the most terrible of his life and almost became his last. First, he was pursued by some maniacal type whose intentions did not seem kind to
Spear. Just as he thought he had escaped the pursuer by running into some alley,
Spear bumped into an unfamiliar blond who smiled sweetly at him.
-What do you want? –
Spear wondered.
-I will kiss your hands... – the little blond sang, putting
Spear into a complete trance.
At that moment, the blond pulled out his dagger, intending to shove it into
Spear as far as it would go, but as the killer swung, unexpectedly for everyone,
Thorium pushed
Spear away, taking the full blow himself.
-What? What the? I don't get it...
Thorium? –
Spear came to. – Stop! Thorium! No!
-You fool – barely managed to say
Thorium, falling onto the asphalt, – if you hadn't been running around wherever you pleased from the start, I wouldn't be in such a stupid situation now. Eh – he sighed, bleeding out, – is this really how I must end my dull life... – barely finishing his words,
Thorium lost his last strength and fell into eternal sleep.

Spear sobbed with guilt. - I should have been in your place...
-Damn it! I'll be punished... - the blond cursed and immediately, taking advantage of
