Posts from Nighon Tunnels. A secret?

Hi everyone. I'm actually playing a mod by BDJ, but I think the next question also applies to the original game. I'm exploring the tunnels of Nighon, and there's a place there – a fiery pit and two bridges, one above the other. If you jump down, there's a small chance of surviving, and you hear a sound as if a quest has been completed (or received) – a "ding!" and it's like little stars fall on the characters' faces, just like usual. But I don't understand what this "ding" is for. Does anyone know? Also, there are some things displayed on the map, outside the tunnels. It's as if there's a secret somewhere, but I can't find it. Can anyone give me a hint about what it is?

Which version of the game are you using (original, official Russian localization, or any of the pirated versions)? In general, the most comprehensive information about Might and Magic 6-8 can be found here: http://mm6world.narod.ru/ I recommend searching there. This site also has a forum where, although rarely, very knowledgeable experts on these games gather. It might be worth asking there.
