On the eve of the New Year, "Buka" will re-release a collector's collection, including 9 games from the Heroes of Might and Magic series (from Heroes I to Heroes IV, including all expansions). This edition is expected to appear in stores on December 13th. The print run is limited.

The collection includes all four original installments of the Heroes series, translated and adapted for Windows XP. This isn't strictly news about the fourth game, but it's still related. By the way, in the Gold Edition collection, the fourth game was the only one that didn't come with a disc, and it will probably be the same now.

I have compiled the Equilibris ver. 3.55 installer. It contains the latest version of the mod (base 3.55 + all fixes for it + updated texts). It is installed in the directory with the installed "Heroes" game. It does not affect "Whirlwinds of War." It is launched with the file h4mod.exe. It contains an updated map editor, the file c_e_mod.exe. The map editor has added panels: "Equilibris" [contains new objects that appeared in the mod] and "Hidden Objects" [objects from HoMM4, hidden by the developers]. A test map has been added to the \maps directory, where you can see the new objects: Test_3.55.h4c. Information about the new features of this version of the mod can be found here: Readme_355.txt
