Oh, this is interesting. A folk/doom metal band from Chile. There's not much metal in it, though: mostly we hear acoustic guitar and flute, sometimes accompanied by doom growls (quiet, guttural) or depressive screams. I, for example, liked it much more than all these doom metal bands that I've been listening to lately. By the way, there are no recitatives here, as Vishmaster said. I don't know, maybe it's on another album by the band.
In Flames - 2006 "Come Clarity" Lately, I've been listening to less and less melodic death metal. I'm listening to what is considered the most important melodic death metal band of all time (I didn't really listen to them before), but somehow it's not that impressive. I actually liked those two Chinese songs more.
High On Fire – How Dark We Pray
Finally got around to checking out Last's recommendations. Sludge/stoner metal with a dense sound, juicy technical riffs, and excellent harsh vocals – exactly what I needed. The vocals are reminiscent of Slayer, and the music sometimes sounds like them and Mastodon.
