I found that amusing too. :) And all their cities are called "dwarf city." It seems they were in a hurry and did a bit of a sloppy job.

And the Dwarves pleased me; they are quite strong!

Some mega-gnomish shield that makes all regular enemy attacks fail, and all successful attacks become regular, and does something else. In a battle between gnomes and elves, the effects of two super-abilities, if both are in play, cancel each other out.

It's called "Impenetrable Defense." It's also a cheat, but I think the elven super ability is cooler.

And I'm still glad that we have dwarves and not orcs... I've always felt closer to them. Although it would be good to add orcs too!:)

In the "philosophy" thread, Alex and I even came up with a campaign for them (but don't make me look for the link to those posts:D).

The heroes of the Fortress faction are very good and unique. I really liked Helm (or whatever his name is)! He deals a "punishing strike with almost every spell cast!"

Put Ingvar in charge of defending the city, and that’s it! No enemy will get through. He’s a very useful hero. However, despite all this magnificence, I still don’t understand… HOW TO CAST RUNES???? I have tons of resources, I’m playing as Ingvar, with rune magic, and everything seems fine, but the runes are marked in gray, as if I can’t use them. What should I do?:(

Runes are not used by the hero, but by the CREATURES... during their turn, an additional panel appears above the action bar, containing the runes... you click on the desired rune, and the creature whose turn it is receives it.

True, you won't be able to use this rune again in this battle... so choose the moment wisely :) But a hero can restore one creature rune by using the "refreshed rune" ability; the problem is that using the ability takes an entire turn...
