I haven't been in this thread for a while, and I've drifted even further away from black metal – now, if I see a rare black metal band name, it's usually something from the underground, which is where I'm increasingly immersing myself.
I'm now listening to Sigh, even though it's not their most recommended album – it's their most "bald" one, in my opinion. And in general, I've acquired a huge collection of Japanese black metal, and I've practically abandoned Norwegian black metal... The word "true" is no longer used; rather, I'm more interested in interesting experiments now, sometimes with genre fusions. Recently, I've been listening to more depressive black metal... Why? Probably because of the beauty of melancholy... I've also stopped paying attention to nationality – I focus more on the music and the musicians, so my collection of Japanese bands is starting to gather dust... Recently, I downloaded albums by Korean and Chinese bands, and even an American one, which turned out to be surprisingly good. By the way, I've almost stopped encountering Satanism in black metal anymore. ;) In our time, endlessly repeating "Oh, Satan has risen, can you imagine?" has become tiresome for everyone; now it's fashionable to sing about everything: anime, women of ill repute, alcohol, seasons, space, occultism (this theme is still relevant), personal experiences, and emotions...

I decided to drop by this thread because some people seem to be developing an interest in black metal... So, feel free to ask – I'll find something to suit your taste (BUT not here, but rather on VK or Skype – you know why) : )
