New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
Did you guys conspire or something? :D We'll have to wait for 80 people now :D
I ask the portal administration to rename my nickname to Miha_Kregov_HP if it is technically possible. (or let me know where to send the request...)
Is there a limit of "64 participants"?
I'll play, haven't played in a long time.

It's great that the recording process has started; greetings to our international guests!
The regulations are still being considered, and indeed, they depend on the number of players.
I've added a table; please check yourselves and your data in it.
I've added the following to the first post: Players who take the top 3 places will receive certificates by mail, displaying their nickname and avatar or a photo of the player who took the prize-winning place, which they wish to send. The photo must feature the player themselves.
Maybe we can do without groups then? Just make it a double-elimination bracket and that's it.
Actually, a good idea is to have a simple double-elimination bracket, without groups - it will significantly reduce the time and add dynamism. Even if there are free wins in the first round - it's not a big deal.
With so many people, it's not interesting to play a couple of games and then just leave... (some people are just going through the motions, not really enjoying the game, and some dads are already competing and pushing each other out in the first round).
After the group stage, the picture becomes clearer.
I would like to play a few games in the group stage!
There are a lot of people, yes! but as usual, some disappear before the games even start... Will there be a confirmation of participation?
We'll get tired of playing group stages here. It will turn into a year-long tournament if we think about it and compare it to the time and number of games in similar tournaments.
The group stage is an extra two months, at a minimum, assuming all groups finish on time. In such a large-scale tournament, it's necessary to speed up the process as much as possible so that enthusiasm doesn't fade. The experience of tournaments like SC2TV and the World Championship, for example, shows that you can easily do without a group stage, and if you want to play longer, try not to lose. ;)
