I certainly believe in democracy, because what else is there to believe in but freedom? But what is currently considered a model of democracy is no different from fascism. You could say – I don’t believe in words because all words are bullshit (c) (Letov).
Let me quote something to you as well; someone has quite accurately summarized the general opinion:
Yeah... this statement speaks for all SoD players, and your position reflects the attitude of all TE players. Isn't it a bit much to take on such a responsibility? Of course, I won't deny that there is some negativity regarding the intervention in the game, but that's not the defining factor. Rather, it's a starting point – to analyze why the intervention should be considered qualified, and to gain a practical understanding of these shortcomings in the resulting outcome. As we can see, wordplay and the pressure of a certain authority are powerful weapons... but this is hardly a secret... and especially in such a matter, and even more so online... to claim that TE was created exclusively by the most qualified (in terms of game knowledge) specialists, with a large team and taking into account at least the majority of opinions – that's primarily a statement about oneself!
Sometime in your spare time, look up the history of my recent arguments with Old Man on similar topics. It's practically déjà vu. History judged between us (3-0 in my favor), and I think it will judge between you and me as well.
It's easy to say that when Old Man is no longer among the heroes! In reality, Wick is heavily distorting the truth, and my personal opinion as someone who actively followed all of this is that it was 3-1 in favor of Old Man. But I ask Wick as a human being not to continue talking about Tolyan, simply out of respect for Old Man, who did so much good for the world of Heroes and especially for TE players! My personal opinion on the issue of simultaneous turns has not changed: it will be a new Schism if asm continues with his exclusive understanding of balance. TE+simultaneous turn, SoD+simultaneous, asm's version+simultaneous... only by releasing these three versions simultaneously can asm truly demonstrate through real democracy that his version is more balanced and convenient, and that asm's pursuit is actually aimed at the Heroes community, rather than satisfying the creator's ego. Because if in fact asm's version is simpler and better, all reasonable Heroes players will switch to it.
It's easy to talk like that now that Starik is no longer involved in the game! In reality, Vik is heavily distorting the truth, and my personal opinion, as someone who has been actively following all of this, is that it's 3-1 in favor of Starik. But I ask Vik, as a matter of respect for Starik, who has done so much good for the Heroes world, and especially for the Town Editors, to please stop talking about Tolyan. My personal opinion on the simultaneous turn issue has not changed: a new Schism will occur if ASM continues with its exclusive understanding of balance. TE+simultaneous turn, SOD+simultaneous turn, ASM version+simultaneous turn... only by releasing these three versions simultaneously can ASM truly demonstrate that its version is more balanced and convenient, and that ASM's efforts are genuinely aimed at the Heroes community, and not at satisfying the creator's ego. Because if, in reality, ASM's version is simpler and better, all reasonable Heroes players will switch to it.
ToAll: I see that the thread of argumentation in the discussion is already being lost, so I ask all Town Editor users to participate in the poll.
"Who disturbs the souls of the oligarchs?" (c) Goblin :)
I won't start a discussion about the 3-0 score, as these 3-0 victories are quite questionable.
Regarding the voting – something needs to be done about the experience gain; I've been thinking about it for a while. As for the classes, they should be kept, just balanced and that's it.
Regarding everything else – that's a topic for a long discussion. I'll just note that history doesn't teach anyone anything.
