I wouldn't mind being an organizer for the multiplayer part of the HW event. I can chat with Lizard B today, especially since I'm not a stranger to WCL. And, of course, the main question is the version. Most people on WCL play on SoD.

I think the HeroesWorld roster will traditionally be determined by voting for other players. I think we could create a voting thread somewhere so as not to drag things out. Let Pit/Sticky decide among themselves who is in charge and off we go.

Lizard B, I suggest you determine the team captains, and we will discuss the rest among ourselves, as I understand there will be many worthy candidates, much more than the allowed limit – 12 is definitely not enough. On HW, there are about 20 very strong players, and there are even more average, but not weak, players. Right now, there's no point in signing up, but thank you for the idea; it will be very interesting!

Discussed a number of issues with Pit...

1) It looks like there will be an MP with three teams.
2) The Chinese are unlikely to play WB...
3) Pit is more interested in playing a three-way game with the Chinese than HeroesWorld vs Life
4) The Chinese predominantly play balance...

In short, the team battle I proposed using a tricky and complex scheme will apparently be postponed indefinitely...

I spoke with black_knight, the captain of the Life-of-Heroes + HeroesAlliance team.
We preliminarily agreed on the following:

Each team will consist of 8-12 players.
The game version will be SoD (b_k is even willing to play a quarter on WoTA, he promised to talk to his team, but it is very unlikely that they will agree).
Half of the matches will be played according to our rules, and half according to their rules.

Those who remember the previous 4-way MP in 2010 and the match with the Chinese team will be familiar with this.

Teams from other resources may participate if they wish to join.

Now we need to estimate the list of our players who want to play for HW.

Please reply in this thread about your willingness to play on SoD, and about your desire to play according to our rules and about the possibility of playing according to their rules (something like wcl rules, http://heroes-iii.com/ approximate templates - panic, balance, jebus).

I will compile a list, and then, if necessary, we will hold a vote. We will discuss our rules with the players who make it into the team.
