Well guys, it's time to finish the group stage and announce the start of the playoffs. Information about templates, as well as the bracket, can be found in post number four.

Well, let's start the playoffs. The game wasn't very good. My opponent chose all the resource tiles, and every resource tile gave me short, easy paths for 1 day. He was able to get to the second-tier Rampart with Nymphs and Unicorns, etc. This time, I got Kirr, and immediately took the Djinn. On the second day, I had the stats 1-7-1-1, and I got Air. My opponent decided not to continue the game because he didn't get good resources, had no money, and only had ranged units.

After a very long opponent turn on 111, I was planning to take a restart, as he clearly had something good. The heroes' first steps seemed to confirm my choice — only one crypt was spotted, the path to the secondary was blocked by double mobs — thieves and lots of Storm Elementals, and gold was scarce. However, near the castle, both Gauntlets of Speed (Nag pack) and Boots of Speed (lots of Ghosts) were spotted, as well as an external Archer dwelling. I decided to play the setup and made a mistake — on 117, I managed to place Cavaliers WITHOUT a Stronghold, so poor was the respawn. On 116, while breaking chests, I ran into three (!) morale-boosted upgraded Centaurs, which left my Archer stack with only 10 units. Then for a week I wandered the secondary, killing a minimal Hive, a couple of Dwarves, and getting money to build the castle. I didn't manage to enter the dual Griffin Conservatory; the opponent appeared near the castle.
The opponent had about 7-8 Angels, 10+ Cavaliers, lots of Champions, which my 6 Cavaliers and 30 Archers could not look at without tears.
