In the early battles, I used Kreg, and after accumulating troops, I switched to Dessa. This was facilitated by an ambush of hippogryphs and bears in the Castle, which were placed on the 1st day. On the 2nd day, with Dessa, I took the snow secondary town where I learned the slow spell. On the 3rd day, in the treasure, I found a +5 sword, which was more than enough to defeat Zidar.
