The most talented mages created them in the game. How can they be alive?
In mythology, they are living creatures. And the mages didn't create them; it's like I said, the idea was just floating around in the developers' heads, but then they realized they should be alive, as they should be, and they forgot to update the information about them.
Of course, it's about gargoyles, and the poll was meant to find out who likes gargoyles based on their appearance. It's interesting who voted against Rakshasas: regular ones - Fairy, Rean, RedB, UTER upgraded ones - Fairy, Magnus, UTER They even managed to do it twice, how is that possible? Do they really like them less than both the small chests, the iron golems, and the llama-like djinns???

Only the Rakshasas were pleasing... in the third game, I liked all the creatures from the magic castle.
And the esteemed Fairy and Rean didn't say anything at all; perhaps there's no accounting for taste, but one of them didn't provide any arguments why (it gives the impression that they simply made a mistake, like RedB), or they voted without knowing what they were voting for.
Yeah, Nival screwed up with the Titans... they were alive in all the previous games, but here they're just these super cool, Schwarzenegger-like golems! And they don't even look that great! They should have made the Titan look like the one in part 4 or 3! :)
As for the gargoyles, the obsidian one looks pretty good; it has a cool color!

Golems (unupgraded) shake everything they can (and shouldn't:))
This suggests that: 1. Golems were created not only for military purposes but also for household work:D :D :D 2. The fact that they are a mechanism is why they shake (like the Energizer Bunny:D) 3. The best golem was in Heroes 4 and the golden one in Heroes 3.
Gargoyles are just… weird. I understand they’re supposed to be statues, but they could have made them beautiful statues instead of… cabinets. The Iron Golem just doesn’t work. The Djinns look too childish.
