A mini-map appeared, we're picking heroes - I'm giving my opponent the Swamp, even though he chose it himself ;) I'm left with either Inferno or Citadel, so I choose Citadel, but I take DESSA as my main hero :))), maybe I amused my opponent with this ;). Well, then we start the generator and off we go!!!!

Played it. I played with my usual mini tactics:
On d1d1w2 - AI Tower captured.
d1d1w3 - AI Inferno captured.
d1d2w1 - AI Castle captured.
Then it's development and capturing treasure zones. Mistake on d1d2w2 - I attack a stack of Pits, and there are 44 of them. I lose all my Wasps and Flies, 10 Lizardmen, 1 Wyvern for a Dragon Fly Hive with 6 Wyverns. Below there's a glowing Fortress treasure zone, I decide I'll fatten up on Wyverns there and by d1d3w1 I'm already there. My gut feeling was right - by d1d3w4 I have 49 Wyverns. I break through the second treasure zone with Lich and reveal the Air spell book (hurray!). d1d3w5 - I have the book.
I didn't use Dimension Door to capture secondary towns - in the end I lost 1 turn. Oh well, no big deal, while jumping for the Sphere of Earth and a Pandora's Box, I reveal a Dragon Utopia in another treasure zone. I'm pondering the Dragon Utopias, while my opponent with all his might captures my native town, flying over the mountains. I take 2 small Dragon Utopias (Earth spell book, Sword +5 all). The opponent methodically captures town after town. I teleport into the underground hoping to stock up on Dragon Fly Hives (since 61 is clearly too few), where my opponent catches up to me on the next turn. Maybe a Armageddon on 2K would have saved me, but the opponent has the Sphere of Inhibition.

I don't understand how 11 Phoenixes appeared at the start of the third week, when there were 0 of them in the second week. :rolleyes: Maybe someone could upload their save files? :)

In the first week, I had phoenixes in the Fortress; at the beginning of the second week, I had 4. Then, I used a hidden base – although I lost TWO phoenixes (I hesitated – twice, actually – and ended up with 6 phoenixes directly targeting my 4 – I lost one immediately, then I cleverly positioned a unit near a phoenix, and 3 phoenixes again targeted my stack, resulting in another loss of 1). In total, I had 4 phoenixes again with the hidden base. At the end of the second week, I built a Castle, resulting in a total increase of 7 phoenixes, plus the 4 I already had, giving me exactly 11 phoenixes at the start of the third week!!! And it should have been 13!!!!! And my opponent says I played perfectly, even though I thought I wouldn't survive the hidden base attack!!!

Perfect in terms of the map, not the battles. Anyway, let's see the save files; we can discuss everything later.
