Considering that the Witch wasn't needed as a Mafia blocker, and they could have sent her instead of the Conspirator. Sending the Conspirator in that situation seemed more like a need to quickly eliminate a strong player, which Morning was. Plus, his distancing himself from my execution speaks for itself.
