The Seventh Night. The Wanderer.

It was an exceptionally cold night, with a fierce wind howling. Black clouds covered the entire sky, but there was no rain. Occasionally, a pale crescent moon peeked through them, trying to illuminate the earth with its dim light. It felt gloomy, tense, and somewhat unpleasant – yet the music continued to play.

But Slonysh could no longer hear it. She didn't see the moon or the clouds; she didn't feel the shivers running down her body from the cold – she herself was as cold as ice. Pale, almost white, she sat in an armchair by a small table on which stood a bottle of fragrant ale. Her lifeless eyes stared blankly ahead. Until the very last moment, it seemed as if she didn't know that she was about to die, and the moment of death itself came as a complete surprise to her. On the table lay a whole stack of maps: large ones depicted entire countries, while smaller ones showed individual, relatively small areas of the world quite clearly. This collection would have been a real treasure for any traveler, but Slonysh certainly wasn't one of them.

"What a wonderful morning!" exclaimed Neyra Drake, descending into the hall. She smiled sweetly at everyone, exuding a pleasant scent of jasmine. Her expressive, captivating gaze was accentuated by golden eyeshadow, and her lips were painted a delicate crimson color. Even Arandor, who had been panicking all morning, claiming that someone had been watching him all night, didn't bother her.
-Paranoid,- grunted Gur, recalling the previous night and those who had made it somewhat more enjoyable for him.
"We had such a lovely time over tea," he reminisced contentedly, "we should get together more often."
