In short, I retract my disapproval of Serg and Ta_Kotoraya's posts. I'm not asking anyone to remove the disapprovals from my posts because I'm not really concerned about my reputation. I won't apologize to Ta_Kotoraya – I don't see a reason to. The goal of my action was simple: to show that the EPU clan (or a significant part of it) reacts poorly to criticism. Did I put disapprovals on posts that criticized (and even mocked!) my idea when the topic "Let's come up with an amphibian race" was being developed? No. I tried to find out why they didn't like the idea and only approved good suggestions.
The action was partially successful, but not completely.

I admit that I don't like criticism. Nobody does.:) More precisely, I don't like it when me or my work is criticized without any explanation, like "I don't like it, it sucks." Sometimes, it even annoys me. This is my flaw.

Conflicts, conflicts... You know what you guys remind me of? The USA and the USSR, at the very least :) This rivalry will be the death of us all; remember my words in a year...

I agree, conflicts cannot be resolved easily, and whatever I write here won't solve the problem, so these are just words, unfortunately, empty words.

Getting a -1 to reputation is nothing compared to the blow it deals to a person's self-esteem. This is the real problem, and it happens in real life too.

I would like to express my gratitude to Andrei for finally removing his disapprovals. That's how true Heroes should act. And to avoid similar conflicts in the future, I suggest using this thread to discuss the reasons behind expressing a disapproval. If a person is clearly told why they are given a "-", they will understand if they have a sound mind. Or they will refute the claims, and then the disapproval can be removed.

I approved your post because I noticed that you approve everyone who posts here, but your posts (except for the first one :D) don't have many approvals. I decided to correct this injustice! :)

The situation is unpleasant, but in some ways both sides are right and wrong. Andrey is right that members of the EPU clan, out of solidarity with each other, give disapprovals to those whose opinions they don't like, regardless of the style of expression. I will give an example: in the topic "The idea is dying..." post #67, Hexorin expressed his opinion about clans and received a downvote from Visa, shortly after another one from Ta Kotoraia. After I asked, "and what exactly 'FOR?'?" (/topic/at/40230/), they apologized... and Ta Kotoraia removed the disapproval, while Viz simply apologized, leaving the disapproval in place. So, they gave a downvote, were pointed out, and then removed it... Andrey went for a different method, more impulsive and less polite... that's his business... But in this, the representatives of the EPU clan are right, that first you need to try to explain yourself, and only then rush into battle with swords drawn...

And finally - I still believe that I am right... so far, no one (even Andrey himself) has been able to convince me otherwise!!! And they didn't even try... So, dear Andrey - you wanted me to apologize - then FOR THE SECOND TIME IN THIS TOPIC, I ask you to "point out" to me the many disapprovals that I gave without justification!!! If you manage to convince me, I promise to publicly apologize!!!!!!!!
