by the way, yesterday we found out that only in our city (and also in St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, and Novosibirsk) do they use the word "porebrik," which is a synonym for the word "bordyur" (roadside curb). We use both names, but I never would have thought that in other cities they don't even know that word.
