Gerfulv, like Bron, is valuable not in itself, but because of what it brings: 250 hit points with 4 defense and armor can distract anyone for a long time.
Once, while capturing a hydra lair, I attacked a group of Tazar golems with a small number of simple lizards, and unexpectedly, they ran out of arrows. My army was, let's say, from the first week, so I killed them all with a ballista, even though it only dealt 2-3 damage...
