In my opinion, assembling a demon army is one of the most exciting activities in Heroes.

Inferno is a terrifying force in War of the Titans.
And if it's combined with SOD, well... they were unlucky :)

Has anyone tested it on symmetrical maps? Of course, they'll probably exclude Marusia, but it should still be interesting, since each hero has 3 secondary skills.

I tested it, we played with Korzh.

But I didn't remove Marusia; I tried playing as Fiona against her :). We got a demon stronghold, 2 ramparts, and a dungeon, with the latter surrounded by a bunch of grand heroes.

The strategy became clear immediately – competing in the number and quality of demons is unrealistic, so you need to rush through the Dungeon, because Marusia won't break her grand heroes quickly, and Fiona doesn't care.

In turn 121, I brought in reinforcements, including grand heroes from secondary heroes and bears from the stronghold (in the treasure) and a portal, broke through the guard between the planes, and grabbed an undefended dungeon on his side.

Turn 122 was saved at the most interesting point, just as I was about to rush him.

Necromancer without Gosh isn't popular, but we don't care:

PPS By the way, each could choose 2 favorite Castles, and the opponent, for example, crosses one of them out, or it's coordinated by agreement, for better balance and interest...

Why specify the version if there won't be any grouping based on it?

Perhaps, for some fans of WT, it will be useful to know before the game starts which opponents and on which version they will be playing against. The SoD version is played by default, i.e., if one of the players wants to play on SoD, the game will be on SoD. We will also try to take this into account as much as possible (we don't promise anything) when drawing the lots.

Currently, 28 players are registered: 5 Swamp, 4 Inferno, 4 Conflux, 4 Rampart, 3 Barbarian, 2 Dungeon, 2 Castle, 2 Necropolis, 1 Tower + Necro/Barb (not decided).

Wow... it's clear that only one tower will win in the end)) ;)

I only play on weekdays with the Inferno patch (templates and settings are not critical), so if anyone wants an easy win, they just need to click on the rules
