Actually, this is a forum about the third game, and Dark Elves (as you called them, "underground elves") are in the fifth game.

I completed both surveys. In both, I got the Stronghold. In general, it's my second favorite. So, almost correct. My absolute favorite is Inferno.

I felt it! Fortress is my favorite faction!

So, your town is Necropolis. In Necropolises, the undead reign, having captured once-living cities. Their allies are necromancers and Death Knights. Many of the Necropolis warriors can weaken the power of the enemy unit. This gives them a quick advantage over an equal or even superior opponent. Heh, I like them, but it's not my favorite town.

I got my favorite castle! Dungeon, with its hordes of troglodytes and black dragons!

1) Dungeon. 2) Tower. 3) Castle. 4) Rampart. 5) Inferno.

I wasn't even doubting it))) but in general, I love playing as all factions – each castle has its own advantages and disadvantages. Bastions are the domain of druids and rangers. Bastions are inhabited by creatures that defend their home – the untouched forests and fields of Erathia. The Bastion army is strongest in defense, as gnomes and dendroids are quite slow. However, most of their warriors have abilities that allow them to disrupt the enemy's plans, especially those of a mage, and turn the tide of battle in their favor.

My favorite is the Rampart. I really like the Ents. Also, the Dungeon is a pretty good Castle.

I chose Necropolis. =) But I also like playing as Elves and Humans. Well, it all depends on who I have to fight and what resources are available on the map, in my opinion.
