What are you listening to right now? Auto-translated

Epica - Kingdom Of Heaven (A New Age Dawns - Part V)

Funeral for A Friend - Red is the New Black

might appeal to fans of heavy music; Wolf might like it too. He's looking for new music right now, so I can share some with him.
I'll post the rest in clips.

Blind Guardian - Sacred Worlds and other tracks from the same album. And when the //expletive expressing extreme delight// happens, it's time for a classic: Gaudeamus.

Damien Rice – Lonelily (original demo)

Funeral For A Friend - You Can't See The Forest For The Wolves

They even have a song about a forest of wolves (although the lyrics might be about something completely different, I don't know)). Maybe the Wolf will like it.

Funeral For A Friend - You Can't See The Forest For The Wolves
punk as punk, I don't like it.

this isn't punk, lol -_-
but anyway, listen to the song on the previous page)

MxPx - Drowning

and this one, but it's more melodic)

well, I don't know what that is, it's a music genre that I don't like)

and what is it then?) and how is it different from punk rock?)

Added after 32 seconds
exactly, there's Last.

written in a post-hardcore, emocore style, although the latest album is different; the music is lighter and there's no screaming.

emocore, post-hardcore, rock, screamo
I don't know anything about that.

Have you played the first NFS Underground? Lostprophets - Ride Listen. Lostprophets - We Are Godzilla, You Are Japan or this one although, of their songs, I like this one more: Boys Don't Cry (although it's a cover of another band) Can't Stop, Gotta Date With Hate Ode To Summer Where We Belong and so on. I almost like all of them.

emocore...
I don't even get it.

And that's a good thing. :smile20: Even people who are into it sometimes realize that the band they're listening to is just a pseudo-emocore band and is simply awful/pretentious/[insert appropriate word].

[insert what is needed].

no, it should be written: "insert advice"

well, the history of FFAF states that the band initially played straightforward metal, but when a vocalist (a punk enthusiast) joined, the band's sound changed. maybe there was some screaming and emo-core at the beginning (although there's nothing wrong with that, in my opinion. some people actually suit it), but now the change is obvious. both in the music and even in their appearance.

at least take this song (NOT from the latest album).

Graveworm - (N)Utopia

That song really caught my attention

Wolf, what else would you recommend I listen to by them?
