Posts from Heroes of Might and Magic V won't launch.

Hello everyone!
Has anyone encountered problems launching the game on Windows 7 build 7077 x64?;)
I got my hands on a licensed copy of Heroes and installed it, but the game doesn't launch – a black screen appears, and the game crashes back to the system:( Can anyone offer any suggestions? Were there similar problems on Vista?
Intel Pentium D 3.0
GeForce 9800 GT 512 Mb
2 Gb RAM

Hello everyone!
I have the same problem; Heroes 5 doesn't launch on Windows 7.
I was at my grandmother's house this summer, and she has Vista. The game launched there, but you shouldn't install the "desktop icon" during the game installation; it won't launch from there.

Try installing the latest drivers; DirectX should also be updated. Everything works fine on my x64 system.
