Spawned a bunch of shooter blocks, the flies ran out quickly, so I fought battles with noticeable losses. No caches, barely had enough gold for ducks in the citadel without cows. Killed the Rampart AI.
On the second day I got bold and poked a scout hero into a lot of griffin eyes, got the flies thrashed again, found a passage to the blue player, from where they promptly appeared. Had to urgently retreat home, papa wasn't heavily leveled, fought with everything available. Valya galloped to the respawn, but didn't dare attack the castle, turned toward Rampart, having first taken the Tower village. Rampart was a dead end, so I figured I'd smack Valya there before the blue player gathered enough gold for a ransom. After peppering some ranged units with Grindan's level 10 Zealot, I break into Rampart with Taz and attack.
But, whether I was overly confident or just wanted to finish quickly, the battle went terribly, resulting in Taz dying (since there wasn't gold for ransom anyway), and Valya left with 1 knight, 14 archers, and 19 pikemen.
After that, Valya got a bit cocky and attacks my Rampart citadel with her 127 and remnants. 9 elves, 1 Centaur, and 2 Gnolls fought the battle, and Valya ransoms out. Phew... A breather.
What to do if Valya buys back in the Tower and brings reinforcements — that would be the end, but it doesn't happen, meaning I'm given time. Super. I have Grinya with Expert Earth, Scout, and Logistics:).
I take a Griffin Conservatory on the respawn, and with an angel it's easier to break through. I build Slow, and now any hordes are no threat. I break through to my village — the last remaining path — I scout there three whole Dragon Utopias, but not a single Dragon Fly Hive!
I break a hundred wood for a Pandora's Box, spending 1 fly, 8 Gnolls, and all the remaining time, waiting with bated breath for 5 angels, but... they give all the Earth magic, that's also not bad:).
After gathering some gold, I buy a bit of Rampart's army and seize the Tower village, near which is a Dragon Utopia. This move apparently provoked the blue player, and Valya rides to visit again, gradually retaking Tower, Rampart, and arrives at the respawn once more.
While the blue player was pressing, I managed to grab a Sword +6, a Dragon Fly Hive on the sand for 8 ducks. I don't know if Valya saw Grinya in the tavern, but she decides to attack. And Grinya was already in full order — both in leveling and army — plus a compact formation allowed a Meteor Shower to be cast, after which an immediate surrender followed.
Thanks for the game!
