Posts from Your favorite and least favorite monsters in Heroes.

I saw a similar thread on the Nival forum, and it's quite popular there. I'd like to know which monsters you like and why, and which ones you dislike or find repulsive. Let's discuss them in the following order:

1. Heroes... I don't remember, it was a long time ago:))) 2. The Trolls and Hydras were great... but I didn't like the Orcs - they were like boars on two legs:D 3. Almost everything is good here, with the exception of the Demons (dogs on goat legs and hellish offspring - sheep, and that's it), unupgraded Cerberuses, Gremlins... Gargoyles, which don't look like statues at all (although in the fifth game, they managed to make them even worse). But I really like the Green and Gold Dragons (designed in the style of Chinese mythology), Archangels (majestic warriors), Dark Knights (no comment), Archdevils (such arrogant faces and a signature finger gesture!!:D), Gorgons, Efreet... in general, almost everything:))) 4. Well... here, the Black Dragons were a pleasant surprise - super high-quality models and design... Titans, Angels, Ice Demons, Dragon Golems (super original) are also good. Bad: Devils, Leprechauns... in general, almost everything:))))))))):D 5. Ugh... well, the Dragons were a pleasant surprise again, although they are very small... even the Hydras are bigger than them... Swordsmen are also not bad... Pit Lords look good, Dendroids and Unicorns that the Sylvan heroes ride (not mercenaries;)), Titans are good, and Elementals are better than in the other parts... Dragon Skeletons and almost the entire Necropolis, except for Vampires... Almost everything else is a mockery of the series' fans... hermaphrodite Archangels, Dark Knights who are pink and have huge anime-style swords, Gargoyles-idols, Phoenixes-Pterodactyls, Cerberuses and other Vampires with swords, and Imps with torches:D... in general, it's too mainstream.

For a long time, the phoenix was my favorite creature in the Heroes series (especially in the second game), but now I have to admit that matrons have replaced it:cool:
As for hatred, I don't feel it towards any of them; why spoil the enjoyment of the game with such emotions?:)

Oh, I don't even know – everything is so delicious! My favorites: In the first game – Ogres, definitely! In the second game – Ogres, Trolls, Druids... In the third game – Pixies, High Elves, Phoenix... In the fourth game – the heroes themselves! :D I haven't seen the fifth game, so I don't know! I won't list the ones I dislike – I don't want to remember the bad things.

Dreadnoughts and Death Knights were always my favorites...
I never liked the Conflux castle, except for the Phoenixes...

Ah... remember how powerful they were? This unit was a real gem! Without a doubt, it's my all-time favorite unit! And what about the Scorpions? They were amazing too! But I always hated Ogres (especially Ogre Mages), and I can't stand Zombies, even though I love Necropolis. But what I hate the most are Pegasuses!!!!

My favorites: Vampires, Dark Riders, Minotaurs, Snipers, Black Dragons, Scorpicorns. I don't like Elementals.

In all parts of Heroes of Might and Magic
Except for the fifth, of course;)
In the fifth – a peasant:D Sword lubricant;)

In the first part, Djinns were the favorites :) – their power, speed, and ability to split enemies were impressive! Super!!:D Paladins were terrible – the weakest in the Knight's castle!!! :o
In the second part, dragons – green, red, and black – were also liked, as well as Hydras! :D Orcs with pig snouts and Ogres were not appealing. :(
In the third part, Archdevils and Efreet were the best! Manticores were good too. The entire beast castle was not very appealing. In the fourth part, the Cyclops was the best, pure strength!!! :D Medusas and Hydras were terrible!!
In the fifth part, I don't know yet!!! :D

I really liked the mermaids and sea creatures from Heroes 4. And also the jellyfish, especially when they die – the sound makes me burst into hysterical laughter. The monks are something else – when they go to the afterlife, they make a sound that is incomparable to anything else; it feels like we are eavesdropping on an old man in the toilet, and this old man is clearly suffering from constipation.

I love the artwork of the Heroes themselves (you know, the ones riding horses outside the battlefield;)). I also like Liches, Archangels, Black Knights, Golden Dragons, Minotaurs, and Griffins (they warm my soul;)), especially the Nagas (the ones that are queens), I don't know why. Well, that's it... basically.

I haven't played 2 and 1 for a long time...
But about the 3rd one: Castle - Crusader, Cavalier, Archangel;)
Rampart - I like everyone in this faction;):):cool: :) :cool: :)
Tower - Mages, Djinns, Titans;
Inferno - Ifrits;
Necropolis - Black Knights, Liches;
Dungeon - Minotaurs, Black Dragons, Eyes;
Stronghold - Everyone except Goblins;)
Fortress - Gargoyles;
Conflux - I like everyone in this faction;:)
There are no factions I hate, I just slightly dislike some of them;)(they don't have a good appearance - just kidding):D

Horned Unicorns, especially in the third game, are impressive. They are so beautiful, proud, and strong!
Of course, I also respect Dendroids (because of Roland).
Dragons are strong and beautiful.
But I don't like Troglodytes – they are cave dwellers. And I don't like Harpies, or Hydras from the first and second Heroes games.
And I've always respected Titans.

The Imps in Heroes of Might and Magic III are definitely praiseworthy :):):)
