If I had to choose one out of the four, I'd go with earth magic ;) Just one level 3 city portal is worth it. And the slowing effect too.
Which school of magic do you prefer and why?

City portal, level 4 ;)

Don't forget about the force field (it's a pretty good thing, by the way), Explosion, Restoration.
And water is especially useful for the Swamp faction, specifically the teleport for Hydras to the castle and Gorgons.
In general, each faction has its own useful magic...

Often, things don't even come to an explosion.
But masochism and sadism often decide the outcome. For example, yesterday I was severely punished :D

Previously, Air (teleporting 4 times a day through the Dimensional Door – that’s not child’s play). Now, it’s Fire (Berserk, and only Berserk; an army isn’t even needed :D).

Earth - Implosion
Air - Lightning, Haste
Air - Lightning, Haste

Probably Earth, as the city portal allows you to manage everything. And the most useful spell at the beginning is Slow. Also, Resurrection, Raise Dead, and Explosion are very helpful.

I voted for Earth and Water magic. In Earth magic, I like the spells Slow, Earthquake, and City Portal. And in Water magic, I most often use Prayer, Clone, and Teleport.

Hello everyone! I'm back on the forum. I see my thread is still active... So, what did you vote for here? Hmm... Earth is the clear leader. I guess everyone likes the slowing effect (especially the mass slow, and of course, the city portal). But I don't agree that Earth is the undisputed leader.

I could never decide between the two schools: Earth and Air.
Slow + Haste, if they are maxed out, is awesome.

Mass acceleration or slow are definitely the best spells in the game, but I still prefer water.
Expert teleport, clone, and prayer are game-changers.

Land is good, of course, but what should I take as a second school? I personally take whatever comes up faster. This is either Fire or Water. Although, a lot depends on what spells will be available in the guilds and scrolls.

Definitely – fire. The most powerful magic.
