The starting resources were average, roads were slow, nothing special really. I was about to take a restart when I noticed an external dwelling, so we continued. I built the dwelling with the Castle on week 1 (with great difficulty — halfway through the first week I was so short on gold I thought it was all over, but I still pulled it off... I had to come up with a lot of ideas to gather basically everything that wasn't nailed down or was in the treasury ;)). Then standard development: cleared dwarf dwellings and medusa dwellings on week 2, then the Griffin Conservatory.
