I will tell you about another campaign that I remember, Senius. This happened shortly after the hell on Gaidi Prime, where Inquisitor Matthias and I together finished off the Bloodthirsty.
The Inquisitor once again suggested working with him. We set out for Lorn-5, which was currently under siege by xenos forces. The Guardsmen fought bravely but suffered terrible losses. Warriors from three Space Marine chapters could barely hold the only mining complex on the planet. And worst of all—reports emerged of underground heretical cells becoming active. That was our job.
We had to fight our way straight through the front line. There were hundreds of enemies, but even thousands would have no chance against the fierce and righteous servants of the Emperor.

The Inquisitor holds back an ork attack, while I, landing from a drop pod right on top of the enemy, suppress the artillery batteries.
We were aided by brave warriors from other chapters, despite heavy losses and enemy superiority.

Besides small and nimble grots with shootas, there were also heavy flamer operators riding squigs.

A small assault squad—me with two power swords, Brother Wulfgar of the Space Wolves with an eviscerator, Inquisitor Matthias with a custodian halberd, and his black servant with a simple spear, for some reason.
Finally, we passed through the ranks of the besiegers and penetrated the underground communications, where rumors said the cultists were positioned.

We met fierce resistance. None other than—daemons of Slaanesh trying to devour our flesh.

There we also had to face monstrously mutated traitors from the Night Lords legion. Clear Khorne-like traits were visible in their appearance, which was a mystery to us. How can followers of two chaos gods at once function within a single cult?.. We had to find that out.

We also had to face a Wizard. A Wizard brings destruction and sows death, but in a fight against an inquisitor and a Grey Knight, he is doomed. I fear if the situation continues to deteriorate, this planet cannot be saved. Perhaps extreme measures will have to be taken.

A brief moment reserved for prayer. Looking from a cliff at the battlefield where the orks were so far unsuccessfully trying to break the defense, we were determined to root out the source of Heresy. Seeing what we had faced, I realized that action must be most decisive. I donned my set of elite terminator armor.

We moved like a whirlwind, leaving no one alive, through the corridors favored by chaos worshippers. I felt that the source of all this evil was already near.

A flash to the right! A frag grenade exploded right next to me, but against terminator armor, it is completely useless.

This battle was very difficult. And it took the life of Brother Wulfgar. The Inquisitor was knocked off his feet several times, but only by a miracle did he manage to survive. I had to take the main blow, loudly reciting the litany of the Fortress and offering prayer to the Emperor.

Finally, we reached the root of all evil. We were met by a Greater Daemon of Tzeentch. Well, of course! Only he could temporarily unite followers of different gods to realize his designs. It seems the forces of chaos desired to tear the fabric here and open a warp portal to flood the entire sector. A second Eye of Terror. This battle was not difficult, surprisingly. Duty led us.

And so, finally, the daemon is defeated, and with it, the influence of chaos weakened. Assault groups will clear what remains uncleared. As for us, it's time to return to the battlefield. I will personally get to the throat of that warboss and rip it out.
