I think that under certain circumstances, it could happen immediately. Why wait until morning to be filled with rage? But this needs to be clarified with the game master. In that case, half of them became a victim of the werewolf, judging by the order of the non-player characters. That's my theory.
But if it's only for the next turn, then yes, it's probably Vegtam or Pandora. Nevertheless, this version confuses me when I remember the previous newspaper, where two people came to Cash at the same time. Who could come there together, other than a couple?

So, I'm starting to dislike this whole "mad scientist" theme. It's completely ridiculous to play like that, blasting your own zombies and yourself in the process. There's absolutely no reason for the scientist to stick his neck out right now. If Cash is really a scientist (which I highly doubt), then he deserves a failing grade for the quality of his gameplay!

That's how Thorium reacted to someone getting too close to uncovering the identity of the mad scientist. Note that this was after Hermit-Zombie, his puppet, voted to execute Cash. Later, when Magnus became a more convenient candidate, Hermit withdrew his vote. I have strong suspicions (almost certainty) that Thorium is the mad scientist.

Werevolka, besides your feelings, are there any facts that could confirm your assumption?

It is very likely that one of today's victims (or even both – you never know???) was part of the "sweet couple." The newspaper's title suggests this directly. This means we might have a vengeful character. That's good for the city!
However, there's also a chance that the newspaper's title refers to Lovelace and his nocturnal escapades – but I don't think the newspaper contains such hints.

In my opinion, the city's chances are dwindling :( And the Mafia and the Mages will be settling their scores among themselves.
Nevertheless, I'm going to look for clues...
