While the final of the club championship is being prepared in Kyiv, it makes sense to look a little further ahead.
I think everyone will agree with me that meeting in person is great, especially at tournaments. 7 qualifying rounds held so far is not the limit; there could be 10 or more.

I see two problems for potential participants in the club championships: time and money. For a person to be able to play, they need to know in advance, at least three months beforehand: when, where, what? They need to prepare, solve problems at home, and then everyone will be happy.

I suggest that organizers from St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Siberia, etc., if they are planning to hold club championships, should decide on the dates and post them here in advance.

For example, if Yekaterinburg's dates overlap with Michurinsk's, that's not a problem; the distances are large, and the player base is different. If Moscow holds its event at the same time, then the players will need to think about it.

I will reserve the first post for the dates for 2010 so that people can look at them and plan their trips.

If you are a Heroes fan, you won't get such a charge of positive emotions anywhere else as you will at a real Heroes gathering. You will meet the "fathers" of the game; most of them are interesting and easy to talk to.

This is unlikely. In theory, WoG should replace the main versions due to its huge potential. But too often, players' hopes were dashed, it's scary to remember how many times - the fourth installment, WoG, the Chaos patch, TE - they all had every right to become the main Heroes version, but they didn't.
Therefore, I won't predict what will happen in half a year or even a year, regarding the final.

Personally, SoD is close to my heart, no matter what is invented. If a new general tournament doesn't work out, I'll write to my friends on WoG and we'll hold a championship, perhaps not very big, but specifically for SoD. Although, even for it, a decent number of people might gather.

But the rule of the first championship - that the organizers choose the qualifiers - seems good to me precisely because of its versatility, it's the only option for a unifying tournament.

Well, if the people had voted for me, as the main one, I would have done everything. I was sure then that I would win by a large margin, hence the vote.
The logic was that after such a war, the Baevites and Petersburgers couldn't vote for Captain. Besides, according to all calculations, it turned out that it was more profitable for Muscovites to vote for Michurinsk. Plus Siberia and Yekaterinburg. I should have won.
But when the votes from St. Petersburg and Moscow unanimously went to Kyiv, I just didn't expect it, it was my oversight. After that, it was simply inappropriate to argue, since I myself wrote about the voting.
That's in the past, the battles are over, so I'm writing.
And I didn't abandon anything, I passed on a good cause, there were misunderstandings - they were quickly resolved: the tournament is now being organized normally.

These are golden words. There aren't just 8 players in Siberia, it's one of the most wonderful regions, the people are wonderful precisely because of their human qualities. If you approach it intelligently, 16 or even 20 people can be gathered. And that's already a heroic gathering. Use your energy either for vodka or for the game - but for new people to communicate with such people as Dust, Mike, etc., it would be very wonderful.

P.S. Yesterday, old Heroes players from the city got together, many of them no longer live in Michurinsk. We had a good time, reminisced about the past. We decided to get together for a tournament, add some young people, there are 4-5 good ones. We also decided to invite Mizrael and Skorp from Tambov, as well as Dmitry and Mystic from Oskol.
The dates are July 23-25, SoD, most likely with Chaos rules. The number of participants - I think, at least 15 people will gather. The prize fund - without it, we're playing for fun.
3 days, 4 rounds. Billiards, bowling, river, barbecue, football, etc.

The tournament can be named as a qualifier for the CIS final, or it can be positioned as an independent one, it doesn't matter.
