What I want to say is that I think the concerns about the poor atmosphere of this tournament are unfounded. As far as I know, all serious players in the third installment of "Heroes of Might and Magic" are quite mature and reasonable people. Such a prize pool won't be something special for them, and frankly, the prize money is insignificant; the game is more important. Therefore, as one of the sponsors, I'll say (and I think Valery will agree) that donating your prize money to any of the winners for any charitable purposes is welcome in advance (from helping orphans to donating to the development of game servers, as Besha promised). But spending the prize money on your own needs is also not prohibited; it's up to the winners to decide. I wish all participants interesting games, and I think the idea with the prizes is good.

I suggest playing with a reverse draft to avoid standard heroes and make the game more interesting! I read about the prizes and have my own suggestion: what if the winner and the organizers receive a prize, and the remaining money is at the organizers' discretion, either for charity, for the winner, or for the development of the site? (Another question: how will we collect the money? And please tell me more specifically: how much should each person contribute?)

What was the goal of the first regular tournament? To unite people who play constantly and regularly.
Hence the Charter of the "Strategist" Club - only forum members who play the following can join the club:
1 Honestly (nothing to discuss here)
2 Regularly (at least 1 game per week)
3 And do not run away from the tournament (even if the game is not going well), with non-club tournaments also taken into account.
Only those Club participants who meet these three requirements can pay membership fees. That is, it is not an obligation, but a privilege. The fee amount should be determined in advance; I consider the average monthly mobile phone payment to be a comfortable amount.
The Club's composition determines the type of the next tournament: template (SM-C, Jebus Cross, Panic), format (round-robin, knockout, Swiss), rule specifics (unbanning mages, full random, etc.), as well as the reward method (taking into account the winner's wishes).
Thus, treacherous moments can be avoided, since the Club is by definition a non-commercial, non-religious, and non-political organization. The only goal can be to organize citizens based on common interests and the further development of the heroes' movement. To achieve these tasks, ongoing, interesting, and celebratory competitive events will be held.
I'll say this right away about myself: I don't yet feel strong enough to play regularly, although I would like to take part in such an endeavor.

From personal experience, I once won some money, I've already forgotten how much, and I paid for internet access with it...

So, I suggest we continue to think about it, and in about two weeks, we can probably draw some intermediate conclusions.

In general, I don't support the idea of money. The tension will be too high. Again, there will be unfounded accusations, suspicions, and then a post-mortem analysis.

After lengthy negotiations, heated discussions, and arguments (a large part of which, to avoid unnecessary hype, took place in a closed format), I will summarize:
There are still quite a few active opponents of introducing monetary prizes in the current Tournaments, and many of them are people whose opinions I respect... And there is already a noticeable unnecessary vibration, tension, or something like that.
So, for now, I will refrain from holding such a tournament. And it's not really the right time anyway – there are many current tournaments, but we'll see what happens :)
