Posts from Guys, I bought Heroes 5: Tribes of the East, but the map editor isn't included.
It's archived on the disc and can only be opened with the installer. If I delete the game for reinstallation, there might be problems with the installation. I've already deleted one Heroes game, and some entry remained in the registry, and I can't install it again. The company's technical support ignores my requests, the bastards. If I lose the fifth one like that, what will I do then - reinstall the system?
Военное дело просто и вполне доступно здравому уму человека. Но воевать сложно.
Most likely, you have a disc produced by a different manufacturer (read: pirates) - that's why you can't find the editor on your disc.
I have a disc purchased from an official 1C store. I always buy games there. And since I patched the game to version 3.1, it's definitely a licensed copy. And the editor was there; I saw it and worked with it. I just accidentally deleted that file. Deleting the game and then cleaning the registry without knowing where everything is located is a risky business. Yesterday, I tried it and almost crashed the system. Luckily, I had a backup before the experiment. I restored everything. Why are you all so stingy with the editor? It's a trivial matter, but the thread is growing as if it were some incredibly complex question.
