I agree with the choice of Castle as the opponent's faction, and the hero should be placed randomly!

Why tempt players to restart in the hope that a better hero will appear in the next generation? Let them accept it: Necropolis - Straker, Rampart - Ufretin, etc.

A global tournament is in the works! Awesome! I'll join in and follow the herd. Sign me up. I can play with prior arrangement. I have a Necropolis and Temple, but no experience, no tax, with morale and a greased stack. The rest isn't important. I'm all for extremes in any form. By the way, you're underestimating Strategy and Tactics. The fact that Heroes isn't random is great. Anyway, keep in touch.

As far as I understand, there has never been (and probably never will be) any concept of a main hero in any of the rules, and therefore no restrictions on him.

I want to play, but against TE and with balanced templates, and 8MM6, to be clear. Maybe all this will sort itself out, and if I'm accepted into the tournament, I'll commit to playing a game against any opponent within a week, as long as they don't insist on a game time between approximately 1 AM and 9 AM Moscow time. I'm looking here, and it seems like all the players are quite skilled, so it might be difficult to compete with them, but I still want to try. I haven't played TE before, but I don't think that will be a problem; the template doesn't matter. Regarding the time commitment, I can't give you a definite answer. I might not play for a week due to personal reasons, but then I could play a couple of games in a couple of days. Let me know what you decide!

Hey everyone! I wanted to let you know that I'm withdrawing from the Balance and MM tournaments because I have a new job with an unpredictable schedule, and I was worried that it would drag everything out and I wouldn't be able to finish all my matches on time... Now that I've worked on it a bit, I can confidently say that I'll be able to play 2-3 games a week, so I want to sign up!!! As for TE, I don't know, it's up to the organizers, but if necessary, I don't think I'll have to learn anything special for TE =)
