Posts from How should I develop my units to defeat a Knight?
For now, I'm a fan of the Order faction!:smile16:
1. You can also play on auto-battle, but only if the opponents are strong, like "many liches or ents," then play in real-time battles, and Utopia is the same way, because I lost 2 angels in one of them, and in another, all the griffins... plus 3 more died from the plague:smile05:
2. I took a random hero because I didn't know who to play as... but now I only play as Laslo.
3. Your dragons had 3-5 (I remember exactly)... but if they had retaliated with luck, all my Knights would have fallen... I was also surprised how the Berserkers, with the Berserk rune and their own rage, killed about 12 Paladins(((of course, their attack was 50, and their defense became 0.
4. I don't know how your friend played as Laslo (who did he train?), but I just like this hero as a killing machine!
5. Inga is awesome, no words... my mistake was that I trained Paladins; I should have trained 500 archers, because it was Dougal... there was also a problem with the tactics)))
Let's play the same map today, I'll be in the Dungeon, and you'll be on the land, on the grass:) whoever you want... I'll be Laslo... tonight????

Berserkers are my favorite unit among the Dwarves, :smile10: many underestimate them! You were lucky that you almost killed them all at the beginning; you only took 34 damage, but imagine if there were 134!
Here's an example with Laslo, and you read and analyze! See, your Zealots move very late and rarely due to their low initiative, after Erls and dragons and other characters! Now, remember my first attack with dragons, and it will be first because of the energy rune, be sure, Mini-Phoenixes will reach their target;) Second option, let's say Lava Golems will deal with Paladins or Angels, then Earl will show up, and not 23 of them, as I had, but about 40 (if we play without auto-battle) + "rune of the mortuary":) Laslo, of course, trained Zealots; he had about 500 of them in the endgame. In that winning battle, I was very lucky; I had two rings of +20% initiative, totaling 40%, and that played a decisive role! Otherwise, I could have easily lost if it weren't for the rings! Laslo is good; our chances of winning will be 50/50; it all depends on the ARTIFACTS!
Think about it, in a battle against Dwarves, you need a powerful, fast unit that will take out the dragons or Erls in one hit, and if Battle Fury triggers, then both in turn! These are facts; I've seen many battles; you can't let the Dwarves move with Erls and Dragons! (Oh my god, what am I doing - I'm giving away all the secrets! ) Laslo is good against Necropolis!
Think about it, let me send you the correct build for Axel! If you just want to play, play as Laslo; our chances will be equal. If you want to beat me, play as Axel; the chances will be 70% in your favor!
Added 8 minutes later We can try to start playing today, but around 10:00 PM Moscow time!
P.S.: What's with you switching to the Haven faction?
I know how to lose... first, I torment myself with the thought of losing... and then the fire of revenge ignites...!:smile05:->>:smile19: Here... I've been thinking about it for a long time, I couldn't decide between Dwarves or Haven???... after yesterday, I even more want to play as Humans! Right now, my favorite factions are: 1. Haven! 2. Dwarves and Sylvan share 2nd place! (lava battles (mini phoenixes), thanes (evil bearded men), priests and blades, bows, unicorns, and of course, Ents (just a super unit), all upgrades are great) 3. Magic and Dark League share 3rd place! (they cast spells better than anyone... you underestimate Chaos magic... Necropolis isn't my thing) 4. Inferno... opening the Gates of Nimue + luck and nightmares, Marbas is a good defense at the start! 5. Orcs and Necropolis are outsiders for me! (Blood Rage annoys me)... and Necropolis just ended up at the end... there are no minuses, but not many pluses either) THAT'S IT! Now I serve Elrath!
Added 3 minutes ago Today, I'll play as Laslo!!! (also in Dungeon)
If you've decided to serve Elrath, then why don't you want to take Axel? A properly developed Axel (I'll give you the build) is simply a real monster; it's a pleasure to play as him, and if you also get good spells, he becomes a real cheater – A CHEATER AMONG CHEATERS! It will be very difficult for the Gnome, even with a 100% build; that's a fact. I've been defeated many times, and it creates a great matchup: MONSTER vs. MONSTER!
Added after 47 minutes If you still decide to play as a Necromancer, first read the last 2 pages of your own thread – "[PROBLEM] Which faction is the hardest for Gnomes to play against?" Then analyze it and express your opinion!
Yeah, I checked it out and saw what's what... I might not sleep tonight, I need to!))) I'll choose my hero before the battle (I already know who, but I won't say). I think I still have a chance!
Added 3 minutes later There will be a lot of meat at the end – all my hope is in INNGA!

What have you come up with? Confess! Let's try today. Write what time is convenient for you, Moscow time. I'll try to adjust. I probably won't play as Inga!
P.S. I want to ask you to help me organize and run a contest for the best mapmaker in Heroes 5: Tribes of the East. What do you think?
To be honest, I tried making maps, but I can't figure out the settings... I think I've set everything up correctly on the map, but it doesn't appear in the game. What could be the problem? There are also some difficult words in English (I do know it, though)... If needed, I can help in any way I can (we need to get people to submit maps, but will version 3.0 somehow affect things if others are using 3.1)? I'll be available this evening around 9 PM Moscow time... I can turn on Hamachi if needed.

I'll explain exactly what kind of help I need later; the main thing is that you agree! I'll try to be there at the appointed time!
Woo! Today is Sunday... on Saturday, everyone, including me and my neighbors, had internet issues, so today at 9 PM or 10 PM we should be able to play!
Hey Mish-gun, where are you? You disappeared. I've been wanting to crush some dwarves for a while now. I've already installed Hamachi, so tell me what I need – the password, when, etc. – and let's play. You're getting too worked up. And by the way, Axel is a loser; Vittorio or Laszlo are much better.
When I played as Laslo against a Dwarf, I realized that Axel isn't weak... (this is just... with the right build, Axel won't give your Necromancers a chance, believe me!). Ask Mish-gan how much it costs. With what will you defeat hundreds of Knights?...Dark magic won't save you; in a long game, you can find the entire Dwarf set, and then a whole bunch of Dark creatures will fall... and in a head-to-head fight, the Knight will take him down faster and with anti-magic... go back to the Necropolis.
You’re being pretty harsh. And do you think there aren’t enough Necromancers? Knights are slow, and there aren’t many places where they can really spread out. There aren’t any artifacts yet that help against Subjugation and Blind. And Antimagic won’t save you against Vampirism. Besides, cavalry doesn’t really cause me any problems. Angels, yes, but not knights. And as for Antimagic… well, once the knights get going, that’s it. And I’m also short on money. Try playing against Kaspar on the Outlands map and see how many knights you can train.
First of all, I'm talking about the late game (around the 3rd or 4th month). He might be weaker earlier on, as he's a late-game hero, but a skilled hero playing as Dugald won't easily give in to you and your Kaspar... if you rush in too early, you'll get hit by rapid-fire ballistas, and the Knight's attack and knowledge stats increase very well... just like Vittorio and Laslo will destroy you with their lancers or zealots... You're talking as if you only develop your game for 1-2 months, building up your army, leveling up, and then clearing out the defenders at the entrance to the Dungeon or the upper level, and then attacking (which makes sense, knowing that the opponent doesn't have enough Knights yet)... play for longer and you'll find that it's also beneficial for Axel to sit and train Knights! Secondly, you fell for the trap of not knowing the artifact that protects against blinding (SHAME!)... if I remember correctly, the King of the Dwarves' helmet protects against blinding! Play more of Heroes of Might and Magic V: Lords of the Horde.... Thirdly, there might not be artifacts against mind control... the Adepts' enchantment removal will be easily countered.:) Fourthly, cast your vampirism on whoever you want when you have a good advantage (a really big one); the Knights will destroy your two stacks, or 2/3 of your stacks from two stacks. If you mean spirits, there are also soldiers against them; at least the Knights will simply tear through your army, so you'll be afraid to attack them, knowing that you'll die from a counterattack (exceptions: vampires or spirits)! If the game isn't in the late game, it's better not to choose Axel:)
No way. You just need to know how to properly position your army. And knights won't do much damage to dragons. You can blind the armored units and forget about them. Liches with messengers will deal with the knights, dragons with the angels, and so on. And we're not afraid to attack anyone because we can always run away and come back in a couple of weeks with the same army.
