Dear newcomers, I wish you all the best in the tournament! Since this tournament is the first for most of you, I advise you to treat it and its participants with honor and dignity, and to play all the games as responsibly as possible. Play fairly and gain combat experience.
Our permanent organizer of novice tournaments, Kash (Viktor), deserves great respect.
I hope you all have interesting games and achieve well-deserved victories. Good luck!
Well, here's the first game! 111, the Necropolis, 1-5, the Rogue's Castle couldn't fit, Elves were needed, group 117. Kir reached the last tile, near the Kentaur's lair, and another Elf lair! 2nd turn, instead of going for the secondary resource, Barbarian Kir is leveling up on the respawn point. 131, a noob breaks through to the secondary resource and runs into Kreg, doesn't risk an attack (as it turned out, in vain)! 132, Kir hits Kreg and runs to the castle, oh no, 133, Kir finishes the castle and wins!!!
117 unicorns in the citadel, 6 heroes, secondary skill dungeon, skeleton transformer max, on the last day Ivor takes the Legion's Belt (which is 4 shooters per week) and crashes home. 127 8 heroes, secondary skill Barbarian, external dwelling of elves, hive max, two Dwarf Cottages for 4000 rub each, money to spare. 132 I hit GO 88 Pit Lords, losses: dudes and a couple of Centaurs. 133 final battle: Ivor, lvl12 (9 9 5 1), no artifacts, Logistics, Archery, Attack, Tactics, all Expert). Kairi, lvl7 (6 8 2 1), sword+3, Archery, Logistics, Attack, Pathfinding. During the storming of the castle, the opponent fought like a lion, like a lioness that is ))) a couple of Centaurs and a few elves survived, one unicorn. THANK YOU, Lena, for an interesting game!
So, here's how it went: About an hour and a half of restarts to start. Then, when they were over, we played. I spawned in the underground. The respawn wasn't great. 3 exits: the first under Archmagi, the second under Grand Elves, and the third under Serpents. Very few resources, but 2 external dwellings of Imps, which was nice. Around day three, I break through the Serpents, then Diamond Golems behind them. Everything seemed fine, but there were 98 Hobbitts on the path. Total wipeout - only 4 Demons remained. So I had to use the ballista and take a secondary Tower skill and break through the small fry. In the main, Infernos didn't join on the first try. After that, nothing special happens. On day 137, I pop out into the passage where the Archmagi were. I spot the opponent's scout hero, so I go back in to avoid being spotted. On day 141, Crag Hac stopped near the exit, but with the growth I couldn't attack anymore, and without it I wouldn't have been able to take him. I watch where he goes and attack on day 142. Crag also had a ballista and Expert. I pelted him with Lightning Bolts. Exchange: 4 Bears and 9 Roc for 8 Infernos and about 20 Gog. The opponent buys back with all the Orcs. I notice a passage to the opponent's respawn and head there. But then I decide to turn back and take the Griffin Conservatory(2) + boost 2 Spellpower and restore movement points. Later I go to take another secondary. The plague that occurred definitely worked in my favor, as Crag would have crushed me with his army. I see he ran towards my castle. I run after him. He turns around and attacks. The opponent buys back with a dozen Goblins and Orcs, while I have 3 Pit Fiends, 10+ Demons, and a couple dozen Imps left. On day 221, I pass the army along a chain to a hero. On day 222, seeing that not all the army in the castle had been bought back, I attack. And for the third time, I pelt him with Lightning Bolts :)
Awesome, you managed to win on turn 132! :) And you said you were a noob...
Ellie, I had no doubt that girls are more disciplined and would start playing right away. I've already seen Lady Bandit in the online lobby. Don't lose heart, there's still plenty of time. Good luck.
Don't hesitate to write more... You can attach screenshots - of the final game, of your heroes. You can also attach save files, at least the final ones, I think many people would be interested in taking a look.
But overall, you did great, a good start. I see 20 people in Hamachi right now, keep inviting the others, remind them from time to time. I won't be around from now until Monday, I'll update the tables when I get back. Don't get bored. :) Have a good game!
Good report, I liked it. BUT please write nicknames correctly!
117 1235 in the Stronghold, 6 heroes, secondary swamp, guard was 56 orcs, losses were significant...respawn extremely poor! But due to the secondary at 113, I didn't take a restart. 127 7 heroes, at home I only built the Castle in a week, in the secondary wiverns, 3 crypts. But catastrophically low on gold, no sulfur for gorgons, I'm fighting with wiverns. 137 8 heroes, I'm taking the Conflux, Tazar scouted another swamp, taking it at 142, large part of the map revealed. Plans: to split Tazar after taking the swamp in turn into both castles to level up Defense, upgrade wiverns and hit GO. I don't want to go into the Treasury since Nella with weak stats is showing up in the tavern. 142 Tazik ran for the shield and at 143 gets split into the secondary. 144 While I'm running around the map, Solmyr comes out with nagas and angels (and I don't have a single Griffin Conservatory at 4 respawns) and breaks the GO, roads are slow, army in three places, wiverns not upgraded, panic, Valenok, in a word, what else can I add.... I take the army from the castle, flee far away, the enemy grabs the castle. In two days I gather the council and throw all armies into one pile for Tazar. 147 Two squares short of attacking the castle! 211 Final battle: Tazar, lvl11 (5 11 7 2), artifacts: shield plus necklace and cape of speed, Defense, Ballistics, Earth, War Machine, all expert. Army: herbiage: unupgraded wiverns, basic and upgraded slot sharpshooters, flies of both types and basic gnolls. Solmyr, lvl13 (2 3 10 12), crown of the magus and necklace of the spellcaster, Wisdom, Sorcery, Intelligence, Air, Earth. Army: two hundred gremlins, nagas, angels, a genie, and gargoyles. First turn: cast Stone Skin, flies fly to block the shooters, wiverns wait, opponent casts Mass Slow, second turn: similarly Mass Slow on the opponent, opponent with infinite mana starts slamming Lightning for almost 400, maybe a bit less, and covers the shooters. At the end, the opponent had an angel and gremlins left, I had a few shooters and gnolls, the lack of healing determined the outcome, but soooo many nerves in the battle remained... THANK YOU for the excellent game!
