And looking at this mini-report, I can say the following:
1) Choose the moment for casting spells more carefully, try to cast them so that they are not immediately interrupted before they take effect.
2) Install version 3.51. It won't be interesting to fight if you have a city portal or hypnosis in your spellbook, and the guardian angel will be at level 4.
3) It's better to use Crusaders to eliminate enemy heroes, especially if they can be killed in one hit. That is, first hit -> immortality potion -> 2nd hit -> final death of the hero.
4) Don't forget to douse the corpses of enemy heroes with acid so that you are not surprised by the sudden resurrection of a previously killed enemy using sacrifice, for example.
5) Antimagic is only useful if you have an advantage in troops.
6) Order mages are useful for stealing spells, slowing down, berserks (by the way, it perfectly replaces any confusion or hornet's nest), removing spells (sometimes it's more profitable than a general steal and destroys illusions), and blinding.

1) I have "Whirlwinds of War" installed. Should I update it? (I don't know what the current version is, but Zubr mentioned 3.51, so now I know that version exists.) =)
(I don't know how to check my version; I installed it from an old disc, so it's not the official version.)
2) I want to play with a friend as an alliance/team/clan/union (whatever you want to call it):smile14:. Is it possible to do this in a 4-player game? We've tried several times, but it doesn't seem to work. (We're new players.) =)

Servers? Hamachi works on a slightly different principle. In general, it's better to find an opponent first and then decide how to connect, but it's unlikely that anyone is playing version 2.0 anymore. At least version 3.0 is needed.

Can I install the Equlibris add-on directly onto the first version of Heroes IV, or do I need to install The Coming Storm first, then Whirlwinds of War, and then Equlibris?
