Well, he's offline right now, at a premiere in the theater!, but it wasn't possible to find out who he's playing as :( (I assume he's at least a swordsman, since 2.5 years ago he was still a halberdier...). Based on incomplete information from the screenshots, there are many questions about the Chinese player's game on the first map. It would be interesting to take a look at the save files – perhaps they will shed some light on things.

Probably, the person who took the screenshots opened the map before creating the screenshot. Here, in the screenshot on the same page, the center is shown, although the Chinese faction hasn't appeared there yet.
