Posts from For beginners and not only! How to download TE-Lite.
Morale disabling, where else can you get such a bonus!!!:smile18: With such success and the building of level 2 and 3 stacks for specialists!!!:smile18: It turns out on the first one you can grab a ton of Dwarf Cottages!!!!:smile18:
Added after 1 minute Dirty_Player
Did your teacher tell you that? :D
The teacher shows more, there is always something to tell!!! But more actions - fewer words (a German folk saying)!!!:smile10:
I kindly request the moderators to delete this irrelevant chatter. Did you even read the topic title? Does it contain the word "discussion"? This topic was created solely to allow everyone (preferably all) to express their **opinion** (see post #1), which will provide an overall picture. For this, 1-2 posts from each person are sufficient. And then, based on the results, we can organize various discussions. Simply put, if it turns out that only 3-4 people are interested, there is nothing to discuss.
When I played on Bay, I realized that I need to take into account, and there's no getting away from it, the factor of the creatures' EXPERIENCE, as well as (less importantly) the factor of the creatures' TAX. It was the creatures' EXPERIENCE that made me abandon FULL TE, because I didn't have enough experience to take all of this into account and implement it.
In SoD, it's easier in this regard (you don't have to worry about whether you'll be able to defeat the neutrals or not), whereas in FULL TE, if you calculate your strength to defeat monsters based on SoD, you will be an outsider.
Question for Yura (Wicc): is it possible in TE-Lite (as it is possible in FULL TE) to disable the generation of native secondary skills? This is a very useful thing, in my opinion, which would add advantages to TE-Lite.

Take an example from the first responders.
No..."everything is going according to plan". How can we do without it? On the contrary, opinions enrich the TOPIC. The excess will be removed.:)
I don't even know what would have to happen for this version to become the default. :D
People just don't understand that newcomers should start with SoD. SoD/Platinum are sold in the store, many play it at home, and people want to play what they're used to. And then, bam – TE! Download it, configure it, learn it... People will think about it and continue playing at home instead of trying themselves online. There won't be an influx of new players, and Hv will go down the drain, like... (Let the Baev players not be offended by me, but people aren't coming to play with you, and the old players are gradually leaving :( ) In the end, everyone will run to the portal! Is that a good prospect?

People just don't understand that newcomers should start with SOD. SOD/Platinum are sold in stores, many play it at home, and people want to play what they're used to. And then they get hit with TE! Download it, configure it, learn it... People will think twice and continue playing at home instead of trying their hand online. There won't be an influx of new players, and Hv will die out, just like that... (Let the Bay players not be offended by me, but people aren't coming to play with you, and the old players are gradually leaving :( ) In the end, everyone will run to the portal! Is that a good prospect?
And no one is saying to replace SOD with Light. Who forbids playing SOD? Obviously, in a novice tournament, only SOD should be used, and in "adult" tournaments, why not switch? That is, a person starts with what is familiar and gradually transitions (or doesn't transition if they don't participate in tournaments).
Played about fifteen games, many pros, including the ability to enable or disable those features that are debated here — time in battle, morale, creature stack, level 2. The starting army, by the way, is the same as in SoD, not sure if you can enable guaranteed arrival of three stacks. At the same time, the variety of settings is also a downside, as it requires agreement before the game and extra actions before each generation. Another downside for me was the frequent desyncs, but memory suggests that most, if not all, occurred in games with the same player. Until recently, a downside was the author's indifference to the project, but it seems to have improved now; here is http://www.heroesportal.net/tavern/?id=254759&pagenum=6 a link to the latest revision with some bug fixes. Apparently, it should have been re-uploaded somewhere on HeroesWorld.

Revolution, bro!!!! I played your TE, and I didn't find anything good or appealing. Your quick troop transfer buttons aren't that great. I move quickly, and I enjoy manually transferring units))) And the experience system for troops is just like in WoG, which was created for children!!! If you say that you haven't seen something or haven't read something, it doesn't mean that it didn't exist. I've tried playing all versions and types. TE sucks:smile08: !!!
As for new players on World or Portal, our neighbors are nervously smoking, watching their dwindling camp))))
This raises a similar question: who forbids playing in TE? :) Moreover, if I remember correctly, players can play TE, both in seasonal games and in tournament games, by mutual agreement.
Nobody is saying to replace SoD with Lite. Who's stopping anyone from playing SoD? Obviously, for example, a beginners' tournament should only be SoD, but why not switch in the "adult" ones? Meaning, a person starts with what they are used to and gradually switches (or doesn't, if they don't participate in tournaments).

I don't know either. But Psych asked me to share my opinion.
HOWEVER, if that's the goal, the first thing to do is create a thread with a description of Light – detailed, but easy to understand, and include a download link – from hosting sites that don't require registration, preferably upload it to several sites.
... And regarding the experience for troops, it really resembles something from "World of Tanks," where it was designed for children!!! ...
Such phrases reveal a person who has no idea what he's talking about. Troop experience has nothing to do with the "Light" difficulty level and, consequently, with this topic.
This raises a similar question: who prohibits playing in Team Edition? :) Besides, if I remember correctly, players can play in Team Edition, both as a season and in tournament games, with mutual consent.
So, that's what I'm interested in – why don't they play in Light mode?

Looks like, after Roma learned how to do this for the Swamp with Wystan from the start - for him, this is almost the only criterion of skill.:p
