Posts from Would you like to play as a Necromancer with the ability to upgrade Vampires?
As long as I've known you, you've never been happy with any set of rules.
Judging by the fact that topics like this pop up quite frequently (about once a month), it's not just me:rolleyes:, and many people partially supported my rules, but overall, they didn't work out very well.
Ибу ибуди - хуйдао муди - Шаг за шагом можно достигнуть цели (китайская мудрость)
Кто к нам с пером придёт, тот от пера и погибнет!:smile51:
By the way, I just remembered how we used to play hot-seat with friends. We had a rule: "You can't level up a Necromancer in Necropolis; only the hero coming from the right can do that" :D
and many people partially supported my rules, but overall, they turned out not to be very popular
This shows that there are always people who will support any new ideas.
For now, ХВ officially plays SoD. Therefore, I don't know how to remove necromancy in SoD and then allow upgrading vampires. Conclusion: the topic is interesting if we switch to TE-lite/TE-full.

completely disagree... even with 20% necromancy, 2 left-side heroes with upgraded vampires will raise more skeletons than now... i.e. what we get: 1)now: Gosha with 170(c) skeletons at 111 and throughout the entire 1st week crushes everyone and everything, raising N skeletons.. well let's take into account chains etc... therefore-other necromancer heroes raise 1/2*N skeletons.. (but mostly even more than Gosha, so let it be 2*N)... 2)after the vampire upgrade: Gosha with 170(c) skeletons crushes everyone and everything... + in addition to this, during the 1st week vampires are upgraded and another necromancer hero clears the remaining walkers.. well also with tactics and shooters.... and gets as standard another 2*N or even 3*N and 4*N what's the result.. by the 2nd week.. there ГО will already be lying down with 1000+ skeletons..
3. the importance of Galthran will be weakened
galthran, as he was the daddy, so he will remain.. apparently, Cloak of the Undead King is rarely assembled - so they raise skeletons.. and you can't get away from him..
4. the number of games for Necropolis will increase
a highly debatable statement..
IMHO
Time for full ban!
tone it down... now the SoD/TE flame wars will start again.. Best regards =)
12 vampires on level 121 might not even be able to take a tier 3 creature with morale bonuses from the Griffins. At the same time, 160 Trolls on average for Shahti can already take a tier 2 creature! on **111**... Ideally, Necromancy should be banned, not Vampirism. You don't feel this as much on L, but on XL (the map tends to get boring), your opponents with Necromancers will start having big problems.
People here spend so much time arguing, discussing rules, organizing tournaments, and sometimes even engaging in flame wars. Meanwhile, the cool guys are playing TE and not torturing their own and others' brains. Isn't that funny?
People here sweat so much, discussing rules, organizing little tournaments, flaming from time to time. And meanwhile, the real lads are playing TE and not raping their own or others' brains. Funny, isn't it?
TE is just a modified SoD as some people wanted it, while here people want to play SoD by rules convenient for them and hardly need your judgments on who is right and who isn't and who is "raping whose brain". IMHO \
and here people want to play SoD according to rules that are convenient for them
All these rules are implemented in TE. (if we are talking about the rules currently being hotly discussed) But you still want to play SoD. With a huge list of rules. I find this amusing.

They are implemented because someone thought it was the most convenient, and that's all. Your belief in the sacred infallibility and absolute idealness and universality of TE amuses me.
