Posts from "Heroes 5". But are they really "Heroes"?
“Heroes 5.” But is it really “Heroes”?
Dear Andrey, the CIS is not a union of former Soviet countries, but a Union of Furious Gamers. If you want, it's an "individual-author update of the abbreviation." If you don't understand, just move on without stopping. I don't consider myself the final authority in all disputes; maybe I expressed myself too sharply or generally a couple of times, so what? =) Heroes are popular in America, and they were on the list of the best games, but ultimately, it has nothing to do with the topic.
I remind you again: I relied on my own opinion + on the results of the survey...

By the way, regarding the Spirit of Heroes! There won't be Barbarians in the add-on; there will be Dwarves (halflings).

The add-on will be released next year!
So what's so special about that? Name just one add-on that was released three months after the release of the game itself.
http://cyberfight.ru/site/polls/?topic_id=373 - just read the comments.
Next, we have Warcraft, Unreal Tournament (another version will be released soon), and how they criticize the released Quake 4 - do you know? Yes, they simply hate it! But they are already getting used to it and holding Competitive tournaments on it, and WCG2006 will be on Quake 4. You see, in the end, people accept the game as it is and play it, and those who don't accept it remain loyal to their old version. There are many examples of games EVOLVING, and I think that's right. And there's no need to shout that Heroes 5 is not Heroes at all; it's not up to you to decide.
How many times do I have to say that competitions don't mean anything? In our serious tournaments, players like Clive Barker, Mercury-8, and Age of Mythology participated – are you familiar with these games?
Yes, I'm familiar with them, but we're talking about world computer competitions. There, participants play Starcraft, Warcraft 3 TFT, Counter Strike, Fifa 2006, Warhammer 40k WA, and Quake 4. Now, they've added Heroes 5, the first turn-based strategy game, and this is a very high indicator of in-game balance.
Well, world competitions are held for Age of Mythologies too! And these games get there because of their fast-paced Gameplay!
lol. I wonder how "world" they are? Within a single city? Or are qualifying rounds for these games held in all major cities of Russia? "World" means World Cyber Games - WCG. That's what "world" means. I also forgot about the evolution of NFS - NFS Carbon will be released soon.

Yes, I'm familiar, but we're talking about global computer competitions. They include Starcraft, Warcraft 3 TFT, Counter Strike, Fifa 2006, Warhammer 40k WA, and Quake 4. Now they've added Heroes 5, the first turn-based strategy game, and that's a very high indicator of in-game balance.
