In Heroes 2, I like the Wizard Castle – it has many ranged units... and a lot of magic....
And the Dungeon Castle is also good – it has the most money. And the Sorceresses are useful too ;-)

Necropolis forever.

This is probably my first post in this thread, probably because I only played the second game once, out of boredom... By the way, I chose the Necropolis castle, for obvious reasons...

Barbarians and Necromancers, for perfectly understandable reasons....:D

A powerful Warlock (Titan) castle, but I don't usually play as Warlocks – and I think they aren't much stronger, but they are much MORE PLEASANT! Three upgrades – that's GREAT!

Warlocks have as many as 2 themes: hydras and dragons!

The Barbarians, thanks to their cyclops, trolls, and wolves, could assemble a quite capable army, and their heroes had the best defensive and offensive skills. A strong castle – and why isn’t it popular?…
I play mostly as the Sylvan faction. The most beautiful castle, the best music in the second part, and possibly the best archers in the game. The Phoenix is good. A large number of fairies is a terrible thing for enemies. Also, an excellent castle.
The Barbarians and the Sylvan faction in the second game (as well as in the fourth) are my favorites.

Barbarians have always been good! ;)

Necropolis Castle – for obvious reasons :D Fortress Castle – for fast development and a strong army. Rampart Castle – for the birds and titans, as well as the halflings.
