The Chinese have released a program for Heroes 3. I know at least two of its features: 1. It records video of the entire game - the program makes autosaves (like our autosaver), but also adds a small-sized Movie file. There is also an interface for viewing the video. However, I haven't been able to watch it yet :( - everything is in Chinese - I'm waiting for a description of the program. 2. The program has hotkeys. For example, when exchanging troops/artifacts, pressing one button (X) immediately transfers all troops from hero 1 to hero 2, and from hero 2 to hero 1. In my opinion, this is better than what's implemented in TE! Moreover, this program works on a regular SOD (Save-On-Demand). It launches heroes3.exe itself.

I know there are these hotkeys:
X - exchange troops
Z - split units
F9 - start video recording
F12 - stop video recording
F11 - view video
When recording a video, you can see your moves, your battles, and your opponent's moves.

The program integrates into the process (heroes3.exe). So, if anyone has an antivirus installed, add it to the trusted zone or simply allow its execution. It seems to work only for version 3.2.

Has anyone tested it? Is the program worth it?

Hmm, everything seems fine, but how do I find out the number of neutral creatures?

Troop exchange and splitting single units work (although only in SoD, not in Complete), but that's all I need (now I just have to check if the game connects with another person who doesn't have this program installed).
P.S. The most interesting thing is that a week ago I ordered a similar program from our company programmer (well, not exactly same, but at least so that troop transfer was possible).

I've actually used this program before. There's a huge issue with determining the number of neutral creatures on the Chinese map (the rest is tolerable). Also, it's unclear how to play back a recorded video; F11 doesn't help. Please explain what to do.

I have the number of neutral creatures written in a .txt file as numbers, so I don't see that issue. :)
And it splits the stack into individual units.

F9 - selects the folder where to save the video; two subfolders are created: one for autosaves and one for battles.
F12 - stops the video.

Then F11 - a menu appears, allowing you to select the date range to record.
They use a system like 1M2W3D, but we just specify that the day is 123.

Anyway, it worked for me - I made a few moves in multiplayer and watched the video. However, when I tried to play with another person, the program crashed when selecting the starting faction. :(
I need to figure it out - either write it myself or find/ask for the source code.

In multiplayer over the internet, it has been tested and works. For those with Windows 7, you need to set the compatibility mode to XP. Added a couple of days later: It freezes on the second week, and even enabling autosave doesn't help (game recording was enabled).

Something happened, and the file was deleted...
Maybe we should upload it to a different location?
What about the source files?
