This issue has been raised before, but it remains unanswered – crashes during battles. When an opponent attacks, the battle starts. When I attack them, nothing happens. I see the battle screen, but they don’t, and it says that it’s my turn. The versions are absolutely identical: HoMM 3 SoD 3.2, we’re playing through Hamachi. Could it be Hamachi? Yesterday, we tried using GameSpy, but the game wouldn’t launch and gave an error about NAT. What a hassle with such an old classic game... And there’s almost no information about it online. I have a terrible problem :( The third installment of the Heroes series simply won't run on my new computer. Here's the configuration: Intel C2D E8400 3.0GHz Asus 9600 GT 512MB 2*1Gb Kingston DDR3 After launching, it runs for 10-15 seconds, then the sound starts to stutter, the game lags, and the process "stops responding," making it impossible to play :( With the newly installed "Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Restoration of Erathia" (also known as "Armageddon's Blade"), after launching, it always displays the "TESTING" message. I can't skip the initial publisher credits, and the introductory cutscene (the battle in the forest) also can't be skipped. And during that battle, the process starts to freeze :( In WoG (Wake of Gods), the game freezes on the main screen. The Chronicles also freeze on the initial cutscene :( If I kill the process from the Task Manager, it's as if the game wasn't even launched – every time, it displays the "TESTING" message and the full publisher credits... Meanwhile, on my old computer: Cel 1.7CHz 1024 MB DDR NVidia GF2 MX400 64MB everything runs perfectly... I'm tired of switching between the two computers just to play... Maybe someone can help? P.S. And yes, all the disks (all parts of the Chronicles, Armageddon's Blade) are licensed... The video card driver is the latest version...

This isn't a stupid idea; it's just a rather crude method. :)
But just in case, has anyone else encountered the same problem and successfully solved it?

For some reason, the game keeps crashing frequently. The crashes happen randomly: sometimes 10 crashes in 5 minutes, sometimes only 1 crash in 10-20 minutes. It never used to happen before. Two months ago, lightning struck my house, and my computer was damaged. I had to settle for a budget option: an Intel(R) Atom(TM) 1.6 GHz with integrated video and audio. I read a bit on the forum and got excited, but then the crashes started. I can't even play properly myself, let alone play hotseat with friends. What could be the problem? Please help us play Heroes "like normal people" – on different computers! We have 3 computers at home, and two are connected in a network. The network works, and we know each other's IP addresses. However, another computer cannot connect to the "Server" in the game. I enter through the "TCP\IP" button, but I don't see any games, and no matter what IP address I enter for the server, it says "IP address not found" – and I've tried everything! :smile32:

but it’s a waste; there’s a lot of useful information there. Try enabling the IPX protocol and connecting through it. Next – do everything according to standard procedure: set network adapter priority, disable firewall and antivirus software, etc., and disable the firewall on the router – ?.
