However, their attention was quickly diverted to another sight: Wishmaster's Asylum was ablaze. The poor fellow must have had a terrible time; one could only imagine the horror he experienced in his nightmare. A cloud of smoke enveloped the village, outlining the silhouette of a ghoul: "Lips give birth to the undead!" someone exclaimed, just as the silhouette blurred in the rising wind. The villagers looked sadly at the fire, which had already spread to the next building, while the inhabitants were mesmerized by the unholy sight. A hut with a thatched roof quickly turned into a torch, burying Gura alive. The noise behind her led to thoughts of a criminal, but the recent events had a significant impact on the heroes, reducing their numbers to almost nothing. However, soon the rain came, calming the wild fire and extinguishing the remaining buildings.
...In the morning, everyone gathered at the site of the ruins. The priest, stepping forward with great solemnity, immediately noticed a strange stone with many symbols carved on it. The symbols were charcoal-like, and how they were carved remained a mystery. It felt as if the stone had been brought from distant lands. "Beware! The Devil's Apprentice was here! The Devil's Apprentice! Protect yourselves - buy the relics of Saint Berber!" the reverend proclaimed in a loud voice, deciding to take advantage of the situation. Kyle, exhausted, arrived, looking bewildered at the commotion. The crowd whispered about another nocturnal event: "animal tracks were found near KostyaN's Asylum," which was the only news that provided some fodder for gossip, as there was practically nothing left of the corpses. And the stone was confiscated by the church. However, right under the priest's feet, an unusual picture was found - it was probably brought in the morning, hastily drawn, as if with a piece of charcoal.



The sanctimonious man merely snorted in response, saying nothing more. The morning chill made the clergyman think... with his spinal cord. WhiteLizard, who felt terrible, followed him. He had been bitten by mosquitoes all night, and the sweat streaming down his forehead indicated that he had caught a fever. The departing villagers discussed the strange figure whose silhouette could be seen in the window of Arandor at midnight.

I guess I overslept on the first day :) I find it strange that coal is mentioned twice - both with the strange symbols on the stone and with the artist - that the painting was drawn with coal...
