I would really like to try creating maps, but I don't understand English. So, my question is: is there a Russian localization for the Tribes of the East map editor? If so, where can I download it?

There is no official Russian localization. I haven't heard of any fan-made ones and couldn't find any information on two Heroes websites. I asked on one forum, but I didn't receive any helpful advice. Try creating maps with a dictionary if you have trouble with English. You can ask experienced mapmakers on the forum of this website: http://all4heroes.net/ (there is a special topic for this). Good luck with your endeavor! ;)

Hi everyone. ;) Sorry for the plagiarism, but I've created a Russian localization for the "Tribes of the East" map editor based on the translations from previous versions: Russian localization for the "Tribes of the East" map editor v3.1. Huge thanks to Night and Xaker for the translations from previous versions of the editor. I plan to make more accurate translations in the near future. :smile02:

It says that um.dll is missing. Does the English version work?

xGedx, the Russian localization was created for the licensed Russian version of Heroes of Might and Magic V: "Tribes of the East" v.3.1 and was not tested on the English version. I don't see the point in installing a Russian editor on the English version of the game. ;)))))))
Kэp, actually, all the instructions are written when you unpack it. But I'll repeat. Unpack the archive into the bin folder in the game's folder. There, a file called H5_MapEditor_rus_1.0.exe will appear. Run it, and voila, you have a Russian map editor! ;)))))) On my computer, the path to it is: D:/Games/Strategy/Heroes of Might and Magic V - Tribes of The East/bin/H5_MapEditor_rus_1.0.exe

Yes, I understand everything. I have a licensed Russian version. There's just no such library, and the editor is in English. Could you please send it to me if it's not too much trouble?

This error occurs if you have version 3.0 of the game installed!!! In the previous post, I already mentioned that the Russian language pack was created for version 3.1! The library won't help here. Download the v3.1 patch and install the Russian language pack; everything will work. ;)

Pr1YmaN, the patch is actually free to download. And if you're talking about the Russian language pack, you don't have to pay for it. It also downloads perfectly fine without VIP access. You just need to be patient and wait 30 seconds for the countdown to finish. ;)
